If "Undecided" got into office, it would mean *very* limited government. You might be on to something.

yeah, and remember when Clinton was broke and down and out begging for money before he not only got the nomination but beat Bush!! I think Kerry will run a good race,,he is a better bet than Al Gore by a long shot. Gore is an obvious whack job and look how far he got. The dems will vote for the candidate no matter what and Kerry has been polishing and humanizing his image. We may not be able to count on him showing how snooty he is and what a phoney he is.
To: hershey
Susan Estrich said on Fox that Kerry had a history as a skirt chaser, even after marrying Lovie. Could this be what Hannity was talking about? It's probably not an issue.

yeah, and remember when Clinton was broke and down and out begging for money before he not only got the nomination but beat Bush!! Bush #1 was running during a recession. That is why he lost.
GW is running during a period of strong economic growth, having brought us out of a recession. Huge difference.
Secondly Clinton was an attractive smooth talking candidate.
Kerry is a monstrous looking overly pompous bag of wind.
Third, Clinton was a southerner which helped him get states that a New England liberal like Kerry will completely turn-off.

"Okay...I just checked Drudge and they show Kerry at 30% and all the rest behind...and in a like poll they have Bush behind Kerry in the fall election....this from Newsweek and reported by Drudge, 1/24/04 What gives?????"
You can read a thread discussing this poll at the following URL; I invite you to read my analysis at post #66.

. . . TWO polls? I've only seen the Newsweek poll, which I've already analyzed (see post #130 on this thread). If there's a second one, let me know so that I can review it as well!
Hope you and Mike are BOTH doing well tonight!!!

Reminds me of a little ditty by L. L. Cool J.
C'mon man
And with the local news,
Screwie Howie with a triumphant comeback
Don't call it a comeback
I've been here for years
I'm rocking my peers
Puttin' the nation in fear
Makin' the tears rain down like a monsoon
Listen to the bass go boom
Explosions, overpowerin'
Over the competition I'm towerin'
Records stop when
I write these speeches that make you call the cops
Don't you dare stare, you better move
Don't ever compare
Me to the rest that'll all get sliced and diced
Competition's payin' the price
I'm gonna knock Kerry out
Mama said knock Kerry out
I knocked Mosely Braun out
Mama said knock Kerry out
I knocked Gephart out
Mama said knock Kerry out
Don't you call this a campaign
I'm gonna rock this land
I'm gonna take this itty-bitty world by storm
And I'm just gettin' warm
Just like Joseph Stalin
They called him Ironman
Watch me bash this beat like a skull
Don't you know I have ???
Why don't you riff with me
The maniac psycho
And when I pull out my agenda get ready
Cause I might go Blaw!
How you like me now?
The rhythm will not allow
You to get with Mr Kerry, Don't risk
Listen to my gears shift
I'm blastin', I'm blastin'
Angry like Shaft, so you could say I'm Shafted
Oh, Chairman Mao filled my mind, and I came up with a funky rhyme
I'm gonna knock you out
Mama said knock you out
I'm gonna knock you out
Mama said knock Kerry out
break down
Shadow boxing when I heard you on the radio, UH
I just don't know
What made you forget that I was psycho
But now I gotta new toy
I'm going insane
Startin' the hurricane
Releasin' pain
Lettin' you know
You can't gain or maintain
Unless you say my name
Rippin'
Killin'
Kickin' and drillin' a hole
Past the old goal
I'm gonna knock Kerry out
Mama said knock Kerry out
I'm gonna knock Kerry out
Mama said knock Kerry out
Wailing screeches are heard
When I rip and kill at will
The man of the hour, tower of power
I'll devour
I'm gonna tie you up and let you understand
That I'm not your average man
When I gotta mike in my hand
Damn!
Oooooh!
Listen to the way I slay
Your crew
Damage (repeat)
Abortion, socialism, and high taxes
Pass me a sissy so sucker I'll slay him
Donkeys (WHAT)
Donkeys(WHAT)
I'm ready (WE'RE READY)
I think I'm gonna abort a town
Get down
Don't you never, ever
Pull my lever
Cause I explode
And my nine is easy to load
I gotta thank God,
Cause he or she gave me the strength to rock Hard
I'm gonna knock Sharpton out
Mama said knock Lieberman out
I'm gonna knock Clark out
Mama said knock Kerry out

Take a report...the Clintons are backing Clark. Every major Clinton aide is behind Clark, and he is benefitting from the same fundraisers and Hollywood progenitors as did Clinton.Behind Clark... but not necessarily wanting him. If they are behind him, what they are behind is making certain that he does not rise too far above the others. They are masters of manipulation and sticking-to-guns; they could have told him to keep his mouth shut at those times when he opened it tactlessly.
If they truly wanted him, he would be surging in the polls right now. Could they possibly be orchestrating his campaign, preventing him from surging? Absolutely.

I want Clark too ... he is a total nut!

Someone posted the poll results from Survey USA showing Kerry beating Dubya, then Newsweek and the Fox Poll has Kerry within 7 pts.
