Seems to me that they're just throwing a lot of sh!t into the "obesity" pot.

If a fat man sees his doctor because he dropped a hammer on his toe, is that considered an "obesity" case?

Kind of like how the French were counting any death during their "heat-wave" as a "heat-related death".

From the RAND Report: OBESITY LINKED TO HIGHER RATES OF CHRONIC ILLNESS AND WORSE PHYSICAL QUALITY OF LIFE THAN SMOKING, DRINKING OR POVERTY THREE OF FIVE ADULT AMERICANS ARE OVERWEIGHT OR OBESE

Remember though that the former administration played with the numbers and over night lots of us became obese.

I think these Lifestyle geeks are trying to crash the economy.

I'm totally convinced, metesky!  They live in the underbelly of America, and they are working to finish us off.  That's all we hear about today...........THE ECONOMY.  And yet, these anti-everything's are allowed to carry on.

They are CHOKING OFF OUR ECONOMY!

But, but - if we have so many "starving children" in the U.S., how can this be?

If the children are starving, and the parents are fat, ... which is it?

When ever I have to go to the Doctor's or the ER room, the FIRST THING they ask "Are you a smoker."  Turns my stomach.  But I always say "Yes, but I am not obese."  They look at me like I'm nuts.  Even the medical field is kept in the dark about obesity.  But it's coming out more every day.

Maybe one day, they will forget about asking that question on smoking........and concentrate on weight scales.  I really get tired of.  I need a break from the anti's.

My Life Insurance agent never asked me if I was a smoker, nor was there such a question on the forms that I filled out. But, they did ask me my weight, and the weight of my wife (which was irrelevant, as the insurace was for me, not her. Other than that, her name never came up on the forms).

I found that bizarre.

The "fight against fat" is only going to get worse before it gets better.

I'm afraid your right. Once "they" get their teeth sunk into something, they won't let go.

That administration just "opened the flood gates," didn't they!

#2... And we knew this was coming, lets face it, they have pretty well bled the smokers dry, now it's going to hit the very people who thought nothing of hitting the smoker, somehow I can't work up a whole lot of sympathy.
