In Bush's book, PROMISES TO KEEP, there are specifics laid out that he IS FULFILLING.
***
Yes he is, and the dems can't believe it - a politician who keeps his promises! What a concept!

Oh man, I am still laughing, Leno just destroyed Howard Dean. Showed him coming back to Vermont in Hannibal Lector straight jacket, mask & handcart, said his aides had to shoot him with a tranquilizer gun at the end of the speech!
To: BigSkyFreeper
My God, Ted Koppel needs some backbone, he's in a permanent slouch.
To: Itzlzha
Not really, but my bet is it's a blind date for Mel Reynolds Priceless!
To: SupplySider
Hannity said Dean's aide should have dumped a bucket of ice water on him and Newt said I wonder what it would have been like if Dean won Iowa. LOL

Oh, gosh, what a terrible day you've had. Prayers being said for you, your daughter, and your family. Wishing you a restful sleep and peaceful rest of the week

Well put. I think Gephardt's demise may point to a similar fate for the union kingpins. I don't blame the members really, it's good work if you can get it.
To: Ophiucus
Well, judges in Maine can't impose a view on Nevada. Au contraire. If Maine allows Fred and Ted to marry, then this legally married couple can move next door to you in Nevada and demand that your state give them full benefits available to married couples under Nevada law.

I could write a book on my two summers working at Whirlpool in Ft. Smith and the stuff the union workers would pull.
But they at least were better than most in that they didn't treat us summer college students as the "enemy" and were very nice to us.

PS: I type about 10 words a minute with an error rate of 2 typos/minute and 3 misspells/sentence. But I can still hit a 90 mph fastball in a batting cage. Go figure.{-: I can type reasonably, calculate in my head ... but I could never hit a fastball at any speed above moderate!!!

Fred and ted's Maine marriage can be ended in the overburdened courts of nevada.
Marriage is for raising children not endorsing private sexual behavior.
Support the Federal Marriage Amendment.

"The fact is, Unions have killed the manufacturing sector in this country with crippling labor rates." Which is the dirty little secret behind the outragous screaming on immigration. The so-called "right wingers" on immigration don't fool me one bit. This is an economic argument, and if you've been paying attention, it comes from the same stupid "economists" who carried water for Pat Buchanan four years ago.

I'm on the west coast and usually fall asleep before Leno.
Thanks for the imagery!

Here in the Appalachians we say "Newk'lur" and we just *barely* even give it a second syllable.
( the word "dog", however, somehow manages to contain every vowel in the alphabet and has at -least- two syllables )
Ain't the diversity of dialect just grand?.....;))

I had to come back and read and reply to this post Miss Marple. I'll remember to say a prayer for you and your family, even though I barely know ye, I believe in the power of prayer.

Nancy, Nancy, Nancy - one too many calls from the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy crew?
I kept looking for the rest of the communist flag she used to make that dress - were the stars and/or hammer & sickle on the back?
