Good point.
ammo is pretty cheap.
But, should "they" decide we need to do both, inspecting the cargo containers would be cheaper than Boston's big dig.

The H1B cannot be hired over an American. Having said that the H1B employee is the most expensive class of worker there is and companies avoid having to hire them if at all possible.

And you say you know about the H1B program ... you Sir don't know what you're talking about ...

No, but the burden is on you to prove to the rest of us nobody in the country could fill this job and relocate to your area. A website should be provided for employers considering hiring an H1B and all citizens should have the right to look at these jobs and apply for them.

I have to recant my earlier statement. My candidate was not an H1B. I spoke too soon with faulty memory. He's a permanent resident alien.

All I did was put an ad up on monster.com, review about two hundred resumes, and his floated quickly to the top. I interviewed ten candidates and he was head and shoulders above the others. In his case it wasn't even about the money. I actually offered him more than we had advertised to allow for his higher level of experience.

I think that America is strongest when the best people are hired to do the best work.

Kristol was talking about "importance" and the Dean speech, politically, was more "important" in defining him over Bush's defining him.

Kristol was trying to be witty and cute and just doesn't pull it off well.

I recall seeing a special in which Mort talked extensively about her disabilities caused by the MS....it was very moving....she's in a wheelchair....and needs lots of care.

I've grown tired of Kristol lately. Brit needed someone like the Krautster on the panel to set everyone straight.

I had to switch channels from the lackluster "analysis" on Fox. I think we need to email Brit as to our disappointment. I expected better.

Good speech, too bad he didn't get the "I" word in when he was talking about activist judges. If he would just push the into the public square, I believe constituent pressure would send those commie bastard judges packing.

Nationwide.

There's more than a fine line between mass deportations and blanket amnesty. Bush doesn't see that. Apparently, you don't either.

Since nobody is suggesting MASS deportations or BLANKET amnesty this is really a non-issue.

I'd like to see something added to immigrant / guest worker programs...a self funded health care system....some way to make "immigrants" pitch in for health care would do wonders for public perception

my family in western kansas always keep me up to date on the illegal situation there and two things are seriously hurting them...
1. illegals strain on health care
2. illegals strain on education
( a third is the strain placed on the legal/law enforcement system...but....

That's the theory and the law. In the real world it's flouted at every turn and I think you know that.
