Barnes is being oddly pro-dem tonight.

She must be using an egg wash on her face. It looks pretty tightSeriously, I didn't know what the matter with her mouth was until you suggested it. It was really off-putting.
To: Republican Wildcat
Did he mention how George Bush is killing puppies...just because he can?
If the rascally republicans have their way....your children will be thrown out of the schools and be forced to shine shoes for a nickel a day.....and they will be beaten every night before bed. Twice on Fridays.

Ha ha ha ha ha etc. Gee why don't you tell us what you really think! LOL.

Daschel and Pelosi were sitting so people wouldn't notice that she's taller than he is.

I like and admire this President too. I hope that he can mend his ways (see CFR, Prescription Drug Entitlements, Amnesty Plan, etc) before it is too late.
Concur with you, but I don't think the Amnesty Bill will pass as is, as far as CFR and Prescription Drugs they do S&*K. However, my wife's and my vote is still with Dubya HANDS DOWN!!! When he speaks actions follow! A real LEADER!

"My fellow Americans, it has been said that it takes a big man to admit that he is wrong, and tonight, I intend to show you that I am indeed a big man. Accordingly, I am calling on Congress to do the following: 1. Repeal the Campaign Finance Reform Law that I should have vetoed in the first place.
2. Repeal the Medicare Reform Bill that spends Trillions of dollars with little benefit to the American people.
3. Let the sun set on the so-called Assualt Weapons Bill.
4. Ignore my request for legislation to allow "guest workers" legally work in this country."
I'd hope for those things myself, but I am far to busy fawning over him because he has an (R) by his name.

Hi, Old Friend. I believe you are onto something there.
I've been reading for days about liberal give aways that the President would propose. Didn't hear it tonight from his lips though.
Perhaps Fred did indeed take the liberal press's spin on the speech and had a canned response ready. That's a good thought and would explain Fred's reaction.
That's why tonight, for the first time in a long time, I didn't participate in the live thread as he was speaking. We wanted to just sit quietly and listen carefully to what he was saying. So glad he did. We thought it was great.

I could not BELIEVE Mort saying the President "didn't care" about some people without medical insurance. That surprised me as well... he's usually level-headed and honest... for a Dem.
Hello my name is Nancy!

There are too many to mention ... .
I couldn't help but laugh at the minority whip in her little ditty against Bush. She was nervous and stumbled. The entire time she looked like a deer standing in front of the headlights of an oncoming car. Dashe is very forgettable.
