Karl Rove is asinine. If he's a political guru, he knows the American people are against amnesty and blatant giveaways to illegal aliens. Tom Tancredo and Russell Pearce mirror the national mood on the subject. Too bad the President won't give them the time of day.

How motivated are those who oppose Tancredo and Pearce? Let's put things into proper perspective and look at some very recent history.Who's misleading Bush?

EITC.
If Bush's plan passes and the illegals start paying taxes won't they qualify for EITC? If they do won't they be getting much more from the tax system than they pay in? After all these are mostly low paying jobs we are talking about.

I'm wondering if Tancredo and Pearce should get all of my political donations this year.
Maybe all who are upset with this administration's immigration policy should give to Tom and let him distribute the excess.

Karl Rove is a leftist POS, and GWB is allowing him to lead this administration to the ash-heap of history. Their plan seems to be "when in doubt, or when frightened, head left." Do they not read trends very well? -- after every left turn, the Prez's numbers go straight down.
The only thing that has helped Bush's numbers has been success in the WOT --- victory in Afghanistan and Iraq, Saddam's capture, etc.
Singing CFR didn't help him. Nor did the $400 billion drug giveaway, the (cloaked) amnesty for illegal aliens, the $15 billion to Africa (ostensibly to fight AIDS), expanding Clinton's AmeriCorps program, the largest farm subsidy bill in history, or his support for the Assault Weapons Ban renewal bill.
Advice, GWB: Act like a conservative, and your re-election is assured.
And fire that socialist moron Rove.

Many Arizona conservatives are urging State Rep. Russell Pearce to run against Cong. Jeff Flake in District 6 this year. Wow I hope this guy runs against Flake. I'll personally send him a donation even though I'm in NY. Patriots all across this country deserve our support.

Tancredo favors border controls; the president and many in Congress do not.If the second sentence is BS, the rest is most likely worse. No thanks.

Sounds to me like Tancredo supports the President overall but does differ and intends to oppose him on the Guest Worker issue..... Here's a comment from him made at his appearance in Arizona a couple night ago......
When asked about his response
to the outpouring of support in Cochise County, including the push for the man to run for president of the United States, Tancredo smiled and replied, "I love the people here, they are just wonderful to me." And while he appeared to relish in the thought of a presidential bid, when addressing the crowd later in the evening, Tancredo told the group that his support for President Bush runs much deeper than the immigration issue.
"The fact is the president and I are at odds on this issue I never came to Congress with the thought in my mind that I would be arguing with my president from my party," Tancredo told the crowd. "But you can disagree with the president without being disloyal because this is a basic fundamental difference about how we view the future of the country and despite supporting the president this is not a fight I will walk away from."

I find it really disturbing that the president refuses to acknowledge the overwhelming desire of the American people to slap some serious controls on the borders and get rid of the taxpayer burden created by illegals. I like President Bush and I really want to support him, but his stubborn, seemingly willful blindness, to tbe will of the majority of Americans on this critical issue makes it very difficult. I cannot understand what he hopes to gain, either in terms of security for the nation or political support, by promoting such an unpopular agenda.
