Rush played several bits today of Clark belittling and running down Kerry's Vietnam service on
Larry King Embalmed last night. Clark was tossing out such priceless bits as "He (Kerry) was just a lieutenant in the Navy, I was a 4-star general in the Army!"
Say what you will about Kerry's politics and his smarmy patrician demeanor, but the military doesn't hand out Silver Stars for the fun of it. And for a rump-kissing little REMF nutsack like Wesley Clark to demean a man on the basis of a distinguished war record is really beyond the pale.
But I guess we really can't fault Wesley too much - attacking Kerry's war record is not beyond the pale of the Clintons, and of course Clark was merely carrying out the orders they programmed him with. This was meant to draw the new set of battle lines in the struggle for control of the Rat Party - the fight between the Massachusetts and the Arkansas Mafias (the Kennedys and the Clintons).

With all due respect, I'd have to 'kind of' agree with Gen. Ashley Wilkes on this matter.
The French looking senator - who served in Vietnam by the way, has been touting his military service as his qualification to be CINC. As such, it's more than appropriate to point out that he was only a stinkin' Lt! If Gen. Jello didn't point that out, Karl Rove sure would have.
In any case, I don't think yesterday's 'win' means much. As i's been reported, except for Jimmah 'Help-I'm-Being-Chased-By-A-Rabbit' Carter, no Iowa 'winner' went on to get the nomination.
We must keep the faith that Dr. Demento will carry-on (pun intended) and his little army of storm-troopers1 will get out the vote in N.H. & S.C. big time.
1 -- Yesterday on NBC or MSNBC's website, the reporter called his followers ''Storm Troopers''.

I agree his service was great, but there is something a little peculiar about someone running on a war they opposed so strongly. I think Kerry's use of his service in a war that he deemed a "mistake" is really not working for me.
By the way, 30 years ago is a long time. I am much more interested in what he is doing today and what he has done as a Senator to slash and hobble our military and intel services.
Kerry's service is irrelevant to me.
