>>He just didn't go for the ball. You have to be able to have caught the ball.<<
For PI yes -- for holding, just the hold will do. Also, it looked like their was illegal contact waaay after 5 yards.

"4 picks and a saftey and you win by 10 (actually 7)? And on the tying TD in the last mintes of the game the reciever is blatently held? Think about it.... "
One hold missed and you are whining. Did you whine when Manning had 3 extra seconds after the play clock ran out? The refs sucked in both directions.
The Colts lost because the Pats defense was better than the Colts offense. Manning looked great when he was playing a team with a sucky defense. He looked pretty average today.

Did you actually watch the game? Or were you just checking out the commercials?

I never fail to see a sporting event thread on Free Republic where some hell-raisers INSIST that the losing team lost, not because they didn't play well enough to win, but because it was the refs' fault.

Unintelligible. Must be an Eagles fan.

I thought he said (reading lips) something popped.

Once the Carolina Defense builds some momentum they will neutralize Staley.

If you think the officiating played into the outcome, you're out of your mind.

Very true. Actually one of the great benefits of FR is that it has cut down dramatically on my tv watching, movie and cd purchasing.

Hmnnn judging from that last play, I'd say the Ref's are on the Panther's side. Bad news for Philly fans...
