Once the appointment is up, will the Rats still stall and filibuster a vote on a current judge?!

Yes, I realize that, Tom. But at least we're finally making some noise rather than appease the libs on the Sen. Judiciary Comm.

MJ coverage Argh *@#!*&@ Michael Jackson coverage. Fox News actually broke away from Katherine Harris' announcement earlier so that we could see Michael Jackson's people milling around outside the courtroom earlier.

Now he ought to do the same with the black woman from California and the white woman from - where is it? - Tennessee or Texas?

Not that I think President Bush did this for spite----not at all----but I think Ted Kennedy's little opus the other day really opened his eyes to the fact that most dems in this Senate will NEVER work with him in good faith.
President Bush did the RIGHT thing.
Alex Witt asks if this has ever been done before. I like Alex, but sheesh. She is informed that it certainly has.

NO. He can reappoint him the same way next year. 'Course, it might be a good idea for the rats to reconsider their filibuster tactics in the mean time.

I don't know why they'd do such a thing. They usually sound the gong for just about anything. They sure do and it drives me nuts! Everything is breaking news to them. That's one of my main beefs with Fox! However, this IS breaking news for a change. Gets rid of Michael Jackson for at least a few minutes!

Seems to be an admission that senate republicans are impotent. Maybe they've been eating too much meat.
(An obvious allusion to the PETA thread that's running today.)
