Thanks; I should have remembered Owens and Brown - not exactly unusual names.

Greta would be out of a job if it weren't for MJ and Scott Peterson. But I do love to hear ex-Detective Ted Williams say "PO-leese" (police).

LOL. I can proudly say I haven't watched one second of her show. The stench of her CNN/OJ Simpson service is still a mite too ripe for me.

Why Fox keeps her and lets Dennis Miller get away is beyond me. People always point to ratings. I always counter for them to check her competitors . . . and her following Hannity and Colmes has a lot to do with her ratings.

excuse me, my point was that this action was taken in direct response to the negativity garnered by his amnesty proposal.

You have NO idea whether that is true or not; you're just assuming it is because that's YOUR issue.

He does have more than one thing on his plate, you know.

All things do NOT like to immigration.

Does anyone know - will Jusge Pickering draw a salary? Can't get the source now, but I believe recess appointees do not get paid

Sheperd Smith on FOX just said "as of today he (Pickering) gets a promotion and a pay raise." Pickering has accepted the appointmnet.

Bush recess appointing Pickering is due to the Caucuses? How would it affect it and why would Bush get in the way of letting the Ras kill each other?

I believe there is a precedent -- Ronnie White, from Missouri. Didn't GW reappoint him?

White was rejected by the Senate in 1999 and is now the chief justice on the Missouri STATE supreme court.

A lot of Pickering's support is from Blacks. It will reopen the discussion about how much not a racist he is when they start interviewing his supporters. It will show the facts not the fiction spewed by the Dems.

The Democrats ACCUSED him of being a racist, but it's a lie. He was on the side of the black boy that the prosecutor railroaded!

Maybe the others don't want a recess appointment. They'd have to give up their current jobs/careers for a temporary one-year assignment.
