SEN. KERRY: ... And, Tim, you can hear the advertisements now; so can I. We saw what they did to challenge the patriotism of Max Cleland, a triple amputee, a man who left three of his limbs on the ground in Vietnam. They challenged his patriotism. His regret is he didnt stand up and fight back.

What I cannot understand is that with his poll numbers so bad, why doesn't Kerry just roll the dice and say: Eff you. I did support the war and I stand by that. That would really make him stand out from the rest of the eight dwarves and energize the large number of rank-and-file RATS that supported and support the war. Polls say they are out there in rather large numbers.

Can't wait to share this with my 15 year old son. He gets such a kick out of the "triple amputee" remarks.

Max Cleland lost a race that he never should have. We in Georgia are now finely represented by Saxby Chambliss, an attorney from Southern Georgia. Never once did I see an attack on Senator Clelands patriotism. How could you? Stories about his ability and proclivity to chase skirts was revealed.
Max was simply an incredibly bad choice of a senator. Chambliss came out of nowhere, revealed Cleland as without substance, and was swept in by what is now a Republican led state. Zell Miller, my favorite Democrat. Way back when I first moved to this state, we had Sam Nunn. Only reason that I did not vote straight ticket (R).
Herman Cain is my favorite for Zells seat. Prayer has been answered before (Sonny), so I am including the Godfather of Pizza in my intercession.

After hearing this dope yesterday, I am assured he is an idiot, rather than just thinking he looks like one.

"Am i missing something?"
(how can a man w/ no legs standup?)
I worked with with a guy who had both legs amputated, but was able to stand up and walk on artificial legs. It's not that uncommon.

Please... When you say Theresa Heinz-Kerry out loud, pronounce it like John does. It's "Ter-aaaaa-za." ;-)
Thanks for the ping, Xena. Well worth a good laugh!
