I must be too, I tried reading, watching the news - but could not fall asleep at all..........of course the phone ringing just as I did initially start to doze off probably had something to do with that..............

Try taking cold meds and turning off the ringer .. that should do it

It's not flu if you've not had body aches, fatigue, etc. But it's probably not your run-of-the-mill virus, either. Viruses don't stay the same for two weeks-plus, because as your body builds up antibodies against it, the sypmtoms and severity change over time. You may be fighting a bacterial infection that requires antibiotic.

But you really should go see your doctor, for any recurrent and unexplained symptoms that continue for more than a week.

I can't take cold meds during the day - they knock me out for a minimum of 12 hours and hubby won't be home before the school bus gets here.......

i should have just ignored the phone, it was a wrong number and the phone is not in the bedroom I had to get up and come out to the dining room

OTOH - had I fallen asleep I'd have missed all the new incoming and would probably have missed the fireworks........I'll lay back down after that!
