I supported Bush when he was passing the "No Child Left Behind" expansion of the federal education bureaucracy because I understood he was doing it for political reasons. Besides, it was important for Bush to be able to appoint judges.

I supported Bush when he signed the "Campaign Finance Refom" bill, gutting the first amendment, because I understood he was doing it for political reasons. Besides, it was important for Bush to be able to appoint judges.

I supported Bush when he pushed for the greatest expansion of Medicare since it's inception in 1964 because he was doing it for political reasons. Besides, it was important for Bush to be able to appoint judges.

But this tears it for me. I can't support him. As for the judges -- well, it's not like the spinless jerks in the Senate have gotten us any judges anyway.

These "Rockefeller Wannabes" are also the ones behind the "move all jobs offshore but mine" movement. That will help them achieve their goal of getting American citizens to work for slave wages.

I see this proposal by Pres. Bush's as a gimme-program for the service industries. Unlike manufacturing and high-tech, they can't offshore/outsource most of their positions. This will let them drive wages down to rock bottom in service industries and construction. Who needs to offshore/outsource when you can get slaves here at home?

I have another question for everyone talking about how the illegals do the housecleaning and yard work we Americans don't want to do: Do you, personally, hire illegals? If so, yeah, you're getting a pretty good deal because you're getting your house cleaned and your yard groomed, and the rest of us are paying a big part of the housekeeper's and yard man's wages, in the form of Food Stamps, AFDC, Section 8 housing and free health care. If these people, personally, aren't hiring illegals, then they're about a sandwich shy of a full picnic basket when they take up for this practice.

In Australia they don't have a huge border with a 3rd world country, so they had to invent some machines that can pick vegetables and fruits with little human help.

Of course I'm voting for Bush. His proposal is an improvement over the status quo and is preferrable to what any of his opponents would do. Is it perfect? Of course not. But I recall what happened the last time a Bush was abandoned by conservatives. If it happens again, we won't have a President Dean, but more likely, another President Clinton. A protest vote ain't worth that cost.

I remain firmly behind the Bush-Cheyney ticket. Anyone who values his chances of survival in these dangerous times would be a fool to do anything to facilitate puting a Democrap in office.

No contest here. Bush/Cheney all the way. The president proposes, the congress disposes. Then the president either accepts or vetos. Get your wish list of reforms to your elected congressperson or senator. Now that Pres Bush has placed immigration reform on the front burner the democrats will be only too eager to grant blanket amnesty if they are returned to the White House. Because some democrat voters are anti-immigrant does not mean that they will object to anything their party does concerning immigration. Party first and always with the democrats. Not voting for Bush is a vote for democrats, that is the reality. Like it or not.

It won't effect my vote at all. I will be one of millions who vote President Bush back into office. My guess is that once the dust settles, the "chicken little" crowd who are swearing they won't vote for him or may not vote at all, will have a change of heart.

There are three items on the agenda for 2004, IMO: WAR, WAR AND WAR.

No one else will lead us against the terrorist scum but G.W. Bush. All the alternatives, including all nine of the Dumbocrats are blowing smoke up our collective kiestas.
