Madonna is saying the current administration is a bigger threat to our safety than terrorism. At least thats the way some people are reading an e-mail that the singer is sending to fans.
I am writing to you because the future I wish for my children is at risk, notes Madonna. Our greatest risk is not terrorism and its not Iraq or the Axis of Evil. Our greatest risk is a lack of leadership, a lack of honesty and a complete lack of consciousness.
Madonna then goes on to slam the Bush administration. Unfortunately our current government cannot see the big picture, she writes. They think too small. They suffer from the what's in it for me? syndrome.

Madonna the capitalist. She is sucking up to the college age Dean machine because she thinks they will stop downloading her music.

Madonna has a lot in common with democrats. They are both Yesterday's News. They both have made indecency their claim to fame. And they've both been around since God was a Boys Scout.
OTOH, let her talk. I wouldn't want her on my side of any issue. But just for fun, maybe we could challenge her to a little Truth or Dare.

The very idea that this woman could talk about conscience amazes me. And what she wants for her children. Does she want the children to see her famous sex book with the picture of her jumping the bones of an old, old man? She should stay in her closet and keep her filthy mouth shut.

MODONNA HERSELF threatened and riding GWs coat-tials to try to get attention... A sign that the culture war in America isn't even near being lost to the left.
For all of his faults, I love the way GW doesn't fit into the paradigm of self centered excess. I love the way they they try to use him to build themselves up, and I love the way they extend themselves (on the record) for what they really are.

"Our greatest risk is a lack of leadership"
She may disagree with the type of leadership that George W. Bush is giving America, but no one can say that he isn't a "leader". "Lead, Follow, Or Get Of The Way" is how the saying goes (George Carlin in a telling moment said of himself, "I Obstruct!").
President Bush may not be "diplomatic" in the eyes of Madonna and EU socialists but he is leading America as a soverign nation. President Clinton showed no resolve to take on the tasks that must be accomplished. There is a lengthy interview with Slick in my bookmarks (the "lengthy" Atlantic interview, I'm tired of extracting the quote for those who don't believe me). Mr. Clinton said in March of 2002 that he knew that at most, his December 1998 bombing campaign on Iraq had only set Saddam Hussein's weapons program back and that it would need to be confronted again (by a future administration). Does THAT sound like leadership? Leaving it for the next guy and then not going on the airwaves every day to stand firmly beside that president to show that this is not a "partisan" issue?

. Madonna Louise Ciccone, 16 August 1958, Bay City, Michigan, USA. An icon for female pop stars thanks to her proven ability
to reinvent herself while retaining complete control of her career, Madonna is also one of the most commercially successful artists in the history of popular music.
Looks like she will reinvent herself into the new BS. -Tom

This scheming slut helped debase the US popular culture so now she lives in the UK in a rural estate. She is afraid to bring up her children here. (So she has said)
So now we have to endure her BS from a distance.

Madonna... Have they taken her off of suicide watch yet over the Britney Spears getting married incident?

I am writing to you because the future I wish for my children is at risk from all the garbage me and my ilk has spawned on the people of this great country. To end it all, I have decided to jump into a vat of boiling oil and I hope other entertainers will follow my example and purge our disgusting perverted selves from the face of the earth so my child can have a normal life. or something like that would have been much more enjoyable to read.

I think Madonna already found an excellent way to get people to quit downloading her music. I haven't been interested in hearing her since she released the "Respect Yourself" video.
(OK, exceptions: Ray of Light, and "Evita." I was such a fan of the Tim Rice play, I let my curoisity get the better of me. And hey, seeing Antonio Banderas try to sing was a hoot!)
(Yes, I know... I'm a bad conservative. I actually thought the *song* "Like a Prayer" was excellent. I even liked "Papa Don't Preach," an inadvertantly life-affirming song.)

Madonna needs to see a surgeon to implant eyeholes next to her belly-button, so she can see out.
