Does anyone see what looks like a zig zag of rockless sand that starts from the horizon and sweeps left to right as it approaches the camera location ? It looks like a shallow dry river bed that followed the contours back and forth. I see something in the big picture but not the thumbnail. It's up near the horizon, it goes left to right, and eventually it just kind of peters out... Looks an awful lot like a dry wash -- but I'm no exogeolotgist.

I'm still waiting for the on board microphone to start picking up the sound of chanting in the background.

they managed to land in the most boring spot on the whole planet. It was the holiday season, all the major tourist areas were booked up.

Careful where you step Spirit. If there was Martian doggie poop out there, you'd never notice it.

You wait and see if they don't give Haliburton a contract for Mars oil."It won't happen. The environmentalist whackos will be crying about possible spilled oil in space and the effects it could have on the space environment.

Could the "RED" color be like red clays here on earth like Jurassic; or oxides of high Iron mineral content! I have not heard any possible explanations for the deep red color.
