Have to wonder when Time Magazine is going to come forward and ask "Is MoveOn.Org Good For America?"

One wonders, on viewing this uber-propaganda, whether there is currently an operative definition of treason. If this doesn't qualify, what does? The only conclusion I can draw is that, if the left is not utterly CRUSHED in the 2004 election, this country is in the throes of disintegration. How could a sane person view this ad as anything but an invitation to more terror by people who have zero understanding of history, or propriety. It is unbridled narcissism deserving of instant rebuke. In closing, take names, kick ass.

I just saw one of these ads on Fox.

These ads have been approved as being soft enough to use on TV, and the one they showed was hideous.

Several prominent Jewish leaders have condemned them because they diminish the horror of the Holocaust with their absurd accusations.

These people are so filled with hatred that they have lost all sense of reason and proportion (if they ever had it in the first place).

It is a good thing that this garbage is coming to light.

btw, IMO anyone who compares ANY Democrat to Hitler is out of line (or calls any fellow freeper a Nazi), and also makes light of the horror of history.

You should understand, that when MoveOn.org refers to George W. Bush as being the modern equivalent of Adolf Hitler over half a century ago, that is not "hate speeech", that is only "political commentary". Never mind that if a factual context is applied, the comparison falls apart like a crystal of salt in the Niagara Falls. They have the RIGHT, THE RIGHT I TELL YOU, to repeat any piece of garbage they can dream up. They also retain the duty to suffer criticism for it.

Peter Lewis and George Soros. Keep those two names in mind.

I'm not denying that it happens and not just on smoking threads. I am saying that people who call on the coercive powers of the state to regulate legal behavior in gin mills that they have never crossed the threshold of, despite the property owners wishes, might, just might, be of a frame of mind that validates the comparison.

Syntax notwithstanding, I understand the comparison.

You, and those who think like you, believe that those who don't agree with your political views are mind-numbed, brainwashed masses who would be susceptible to the mind control that took place in Nazi Germany, and thus, you freely assault them with the label 'Nazi.'

It's rather obvious...........as is the ideologically blinded arrogance that goes with it.

It's also a poor debating technique, because as soon as the words are used, you have lost the argument. If you are interested in swaying people to your point of view, or convincing anyone that you have a valid point that should be taken seriously, calling them a Nazi is, well.......dumb.

That is why this Hitler/Bush comparison on Moveon.org is going to be counter productive. No thinking person will take it seriously, and it will backfire against them.
