Ah....reminds me of all those Hitler ads (with Clinton superimposed) in the 1990s that were so popular on FR. We hardly have a leg to stand on when they do the same thing, do we? Yes, we do. Those images were done out of entertainment and not meant to sway voters to see our viewpoint. Was it decent and honorable? No. It also wasnt a paid for ad by some billionaire.

The nice thing here is that we're only three years into Bush's eight, and they're already pretty comfortable in calling him Hitler. It's not like they can dig any deeper than that.
'Worse than Hitler' perhaps, but that sounds like so much shrill hyperoble. They don't really have any ammo past that. They could always move on to famous Communist leaders with more blood on their hands than Hitler, but for some reason I don't see that happening.

Now wait just a second here. Ya know, they both have
short hair and from a rat's perspective, I can see where the difference might be confusing. They may have a point, people.../off my prescribed medication
Sounds like these folks already know they're in for another long four years. *snicker*

I'm not sure why these ads are any worse than the ad that showed George Bush dragging a black man behind his pickup truck. I don't remember that they ever apologized for that.
This sort of thing is pretty much S.O.P. for the Democrats.

And, luckily, it's getting out to the mainstream. This is good. If the American voter falls for this marxist drivel, they deserve the hell that these bastards will create. As of yet they haven't started singling out registered Rebublican voters but that will come in due time.

I watched about 50%+ of "The Truth Uncovered" before I walked out.
Its nothing more than soundbytes of various liberal players ranging from Scott Ritter to Ambassador Wilson, to liberal professors, etc. all mouthing off about WMD not being in Iraq.
The funniest part of the video was some retired CIA official wondering why we acted as we did when we knew that Sadamm's son had admitted that he "oversaw the destruction of the WMD back in the early 90's"

The Democrats choose to ignore the socialist root of Nazism, the best retort that you can give a lefty who accuses Bush of being Hitlerian is to laugh at them and tell them that NAZI stood for the National Socialist Party. My husband did this with his sister and the look of confusion on her face was priceless.

How can ANYONE on this site be outraged over the Democrats' contemptible suggestion that any Republican is like or in any way similar to a Nazi -- when we have had posts (including one a day or two ago) comparing the Democrats to Nazis? And just try to oppose smoking in a restaurant. Here on FreeRepublic, you'll be branded a Nazi in no time.

That's really it, isn't it? Bush lied. First of all, he didn't "lie," and second, just imagine if we found some huge stockpile of nerve agent. Not like it would matter though. "It was planted there" would be response.

Except for one crucial fact - the policies of today's DemocRAT party are FAR closer to the Socialist "ideals" of Hitler and his 3rd Reich than have any US administration since WWII. Clinton embodied this ideology.
Also, were those items you mentioned personal graphics for posting here on FR, or were they streaming movies to be streamed all over the internet?

Yeah.....I've been called a Nazi by MANY 'free speech' loving 'conservatives' on this forum.....
(However, the accusations of a handful of morons on FR hardly compare with the official position of a group like Moveon.org against this honorable President).

I exaggerated. They weren't ads. They were threads which, of course, were never pulled. Some of us oldsters remember them well and actually got quite a lot of laughs out of them. Free Republic used to have a rather "dangerous" sense of humor in those days. Now....it too often feels like reading sanitized publicity releases from the RNC.
To: Lazamataz
I'm becoming convinced the Republicans have moles imbedded over there in Moveon.org. Eeeeek! The DU lurkers are going spin themselves into a total paranoid frenzy when they see that statement. Should be fun to watch.

The left is already talking about "What if" WMDs are found.
Here is a reply to the question of WMD I pulled off a liberal message board:
"Re: WMD, If they are eventually found, what will be the significance? We know where he got them. He got them from us, back when he was our buddy fighting Iran. And hell, why not? We sold him all kinds of expensive weaponry - made lots of money. We even armed Iran as well. Money to be made there too. The intention must have been the obliteration of both countries. It worked.
We knew he had them when he was gassing the kurds. That was just fine. In fact, the US government just loved Saddam until he stepped over the line in Kuwait and pissed off our even closer friends, the Saudi Royal family.
It's the oil stupid! It's all about the oil! Saddam was never a threat to the U.S. Anyone with any sense knows this. It is so simple. It amazes me how easy it was to confuse the american public. If one lame reason for war doesn't convice, just throw out a myriad of even lamer reasons. A little doublespeak, (operation iraqi freedom) a few simplistic slogans,(axis of evil, enemies of freedom) and the american people just don't know what to think.
What will it take to end this complacency and self-imposed ignorance? ?
