Well, they seem to be coming right at Fresno - must be after Freep HQ!
Anyway, there has been no sound of jets scrambling from the airport here, so i think this is nothing special (yet)

I agree with you. After all the terrorists onboard those planes didn't break a single airport security rule. They used their freedom within America to launch their attack. Their intelligence shouldn't be underestimated, when they have time to prepare.

How could he stay incognito if they knew he was on the flight?

Ah, forgot that one!
They renamed the airport after Louis Armstrong, that was pretty cool. They wanted to rename Phoenix Sky Harbor after Goldwater, but they already named a terminal after him, they named the exec terminal after Lincoln Ragsdale, an original Tuskeegee Airman and a war hero, which is pretty cool. And there is John Wayne airport in Orange County, Lester Pierce in Toronto, Ronald Reagan at DCA, John Lennon in Liverpool, Chaing Kai Shek at Taipei, Sydney Kingsford Smith...etc....
All this useless trivia...:)

McCoy! You are correct! It was a minor correction, especially in light of the seriousness of this potential threat, but being a longtime Orlando resident, I just had to set the record straight.
I really enjoyed watching all the AF jets fly over my house as a kid in the "60's when the base was still operating, especially the B-52's.

I took a flight out of Paris once in 7/2000...it was an hour+ late leaving but the pilot just sped up over the ocean and we got home before scheduled time.

I was thinking about that today while I was working in the garage....
Look how big Israel is compared to the U.S....
One would think that homeland security would be alot easier in a smaller country. But they've been hit how many times since 9-11?
