Well, it was inevitable. The tree-hugging peace pukes have run low on fresh boogeymen, so they're attempting to vilify the armes forces now. And I'll bet that these deluded malcontents will actually try to get the military to make their tanks and planes 'greener'!!!!!!!!!! Oh, where's a stray Daisy Cutter when you need it? >:-)

"According to Dr. Bertell, the hundreds of burning oil fires during the Gulf War was the 'worst man-made pollution event in history'. It led to environmental and climatic disasters worldwide."
And even when they stumble on to a smidgen of the truth, Liberals still can't find the courage to despise Saddam for the right reasons. While the rest of the article is garbage, the fact is Saddam was one of this planet's worst environmental criminals. Between the oil field fires, dumping of oil into the Persian Gulf and draining of the wetlands to displace the Marsh Arabs, Saddam committed environmental disasters on a scale that "should've" had every environmentalist (including the UN) calling for his trial and removal, long ago. It's fascinating to watch all the liberal's objections to Saddam's removal when this man is guilty of assaulting some of the liberal's most sacred cows...whether it be the environment or his assault on basic human rights.
