[history]
December 24, 2003 -- Rush Limbaugh tore into Florida prosecutors on his radio show yesterday - suggesting they're part of an evil Democratic plot to defeat him "in the court of public opinion." The top-rated conservative talker, furious a judge is letting prosecutors examine his medical records for evidence of "doctor shopping," accused them of smearing his name through unsubstantiated leaks to the media.

Well then, Indiana and Ohio were soley comprised of lawyers from that 5%. What bad luck for me!

Why do you think the DA's office leaked derogatory information about Limbaugh to the media?
Do you think it was ethical?
What purpose did these leaks serve?
To: Bluntpoint
LOL! You were the only honest atty in those states?

VLWC????Actually a friend and I were talking about how Rush sounded like HRC when she let go with the VRWC comment.
Sadly, the way Rush has acted through this is so similar to how Clinton blamed his enemies, volunteered to co-operate fully only to throw roadblocks to gathering evidence, to tell us all sooner rather than later, parsed words and on and on and on. Even like Slick, Rush likes his cigars and golf too. Are they really soul brothers?
To: Bonaparte
I'd think that now Rush has it on the web, a simple blurb about it every hour or so would suffice. Rantrantrantrantrant about just this, no matter how right he might be, is over the top.

My cousin lives in Florida to be near his mother. Even before 2000 he told me that Florida is like another country. A weird one.

The big cry baby has no one to blame but himself. When has he ever waited for actual evidence to persecute someone on the airwaves?
Another troll from DU huh? If you actually listened to Rush you would know that he uses a liberal's own words and actions to shyow the idiocy of that ideology.

I really don't know what was leaked & by whom - more importantly , I don't care. Rush did wrong, the system (legal) will deal with him, and the outcome is uncertain. And no matter the outcome - the price of lychee nuts on the Hong Kong exchange won't be impacted so it isn't all that important. Terror threats and US soldiers dying in Iraq are far more important issues to be discussing than rush & his legal troubles - let him rot for all I care.

You know, there is not one attorney, that I personally knew, that did not rationalize away their ethical cluelessness.

The big cry baby has no one to blame but himself. When has he ever waited for actual evidence to persecute someone on the airwaves? His troubles are of his own making and he is not above the law. The law, however, should be applied equally and fairly to all citizens. He should not be singled out by a partisan Democrat conspiracy.
Why he chose to live in the midst of such people is beyond me.
To: HungarianGypsy
It's like responsibility is one of the things that is on vacation, in Florida.
To: saminfl
He's been using a lot of the liberals own words in using his show as a bully pulpit. I'm frankly saddened by how he has treated this whole thing. Very Clintonian.

Why he chose to live in the midst of such people is beyond me. Because it's so NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE on Palm Beach.
Rush, if/when you get free of this, some advice. If you can't bear to go North to find some sanity, try Texas.
To: familyofman
let him rot for all I care. Except when they work down in the "let him rot" from the radio superpersonalities to the peon on the street, it'll be too late to oppose the juggernaut.
To: HiTech RedNeck
I found Palm Beach liberal and overrated. If you want liberal and really nice beachs go to Hawaii. Their liberal different than the Florida liberal. But Hawaii has its problems too.
To: joesbucks
The liberals use the words that voice sincerity, pretending to be sincere. Perhaps Rush really is sincere.
To: familyofman
"Rush did wrong"Has he been charged with a crime?
Has he been convicted of a crime?

You know, there is not one attorney, that I personally knew, that did not rationalize away their ethical cluelessness. I think this is a terribly difficult pitfall for a career courtroom lawyer to avoid. This is because they're trained to think in the virtual moral realities of the law which are at best only convenient approximations to the moralities that God have written upon our hearts. Funny that in the Bible the Pharisees are sometimes referred to as the "lawyers."

Florida liberal is like a rotten alligator. Hawaii liberal is like a rotten pineapple. I guess if I had to choose it would be the pineapple.
