I find it ironic...my daughter (18) is visiting me here in NY from LA area...she has yet to experience any significant earthquakes in CA, where she moved to last summer! (Thankful that she's with me this week, for more than just that! : )

Just to add, the rolling went on for a long time here at the NUMMI plant. Thought it might be bigger given that it's only the second quake we could feel here.(Car plant lots of moving machinery takes a good shake to feel anything)

KCAL/KCBS: Quake felt as far south as Orange Co.; expecting aftershocks -- about a 4% chance that this is a FOREshock.

They are reporting they felt it in Las Vegas.

Definitely felt it here in Ventura -- we had one person who got sea-sick (really) for the rocking motion.

Felt like a hangover. Way over a minute long.

Hearst Castle looked to me like it could withstand quite a bit, but I'd like to know too.

Changing the title's fine by me - it looks like the whole central coastal part of the state got in on this one!

I'm in Hayward, and was talking on the phone, and didn't notice anything! Of course, I've got a cold and feel dizzy anyway.

I just heard 6.5 on KGO...?
