He was disbarred by the Supreme Court. A modicum of justice, yes, but just deserts nonetheless.

I was anchoring early coverage of the vote on Atlanta's WGST (I was there 'til noon) on that fateful day.

It's one of those "where were you then" sorts of moments.

Tsk, tsk, gentlemen! You didn't read Nina's post:

I was crying so hard. Not because I thought he didn't deserve it, but because I was so heartbroken that the country had come to that.

She was crying for America, not for Bubba.

Thank God that people like Linda Tripp stood tall

If Linda hadn't taped Monica, Monica would be sleeping with Chandra.

X42 lost his law license for five years. Does that mean that his right to practice law will be reinstated at this time?

Given his book deal, speaking fees, and cadre of loyalists (no matter how many of them end up under the proverbial bus) he is the closest thing America has produced to a corrupt 3rd world despot who flees to his french villa with a suitcase full of money.

No, you didn't read it. It implies he/she thought he didn't deserve it. If that's not what he/she meant, he/she coveyed the exact opposite.

Perhaps I did not phrase it clearly enough for you to understand.

I wasn't sad that "Clinton" was impeached - I was heartbroken that the "President of the United States" had so disgraced himself as to make it necessary to do so.

Yes, I am female.

And since the sleazy, vicious, mean-spirited dems can do nothing to change the filth and corruption of Willie and his sewer dwelling administration, they will FOREVER try to bring any Republican president down to Willie's level. I GUARANTEE that, if we ever have a dem controlled Congress again, during the administration of a Republican president, they will try to impeach him. NEVER doubt the filth and corruption of dems and their basic nastiness.

I reminded my family at dinner last night that tomorrow (today!) was Impeachment Day.

I remember crying tears of relief when the votes reached the required number and saying to my husband "They can NEVER expunge this from the record!".
