December 17, 2003 -- ESPECIALLY now that the capture of Saddam Hussein could turn the Iraq war into a positive for George Bush, Howard Dean may turn to Hillary Rodham Clinton to be his vice presidential candidate. And, especially now that Al Gore has un-retired, Hillary might just accept.

Many say that Dean is crazy. Even if he isn't crazy, he's a carrier.

Hillary shows how she thinks daily. Tracing her words and actions tells exactly what is going on in that brain of hers.

Hillary thinks of herself morning, noon, and night. She and her husband are so self absorbed that everything they do and say is to benefit themselves.

I call it "method of operation", and Hillary believes she is owed that position of President and in her name only this time. Whatever steps she need take to regain that status she will do no matter what.

Interesting how she gets herself speaking to the Council on Foreign Relations on the same day that the "good" doctor is revealing his so called "policy" speech in LA. I would not be surprised if she had an advanced copy of Dean's speech.

So long as Hillary and her in-name-only hubby control the "money" she is in control. Poor old Dean, doesn't have a clue what is ahead for him.

Morris is again out to lunch. He underestimates Hillary's unsurpassed and unrealized ego and ambition. She would never accept VEEP nor would any sane candidate accept her presence on the ticket. No, she wants the big prize and is prepared to pay any price, go anywhere, do anything to get it. In her recent CFA address she laid claim to the currently dormant Scoop Jackson wing of the party that, in many ways, is a good deal more conservative than W's brand of of compassionate conservativism. A deal could be in the making wherein she brings moderate Democrats to Carl Rove in return for a "later reward". If the electorate remains polarized in November 04 her votes would offset the disillusioned Republican conservatives who will not show up on election day. A party switch before the election would give her the headlines and gravitas that she craves, and it would give Carl Rove the accolades that deal makers can only dream about.

Remember 1960? Kennedy asked Johnson to run as VP, assuming he wouldn't accept the invitation. LBJ accepted, believing Kennedy would lose, and LBJ was simultaneously running for reelection as senator (there was no law preventing him from doing so). And . . look who got to be president.

1. The Criminaltons have done everything possible to destroy me and my candidacy. So I'll repay their hatred and coniving by putting this bag of excrement on as my VP. That way, if anything happens to my health, she can take over for me. Yeh, "That's the Ticket!"

2. Let's see. Say I beat Bush and I'm now gonna be President for the next 8 years. That makes Hillary 92 years old in 2012. She already looks like a wrinkled prune. She can campaign from the front porch of the old folks home.

But is that true?

Who were Dean's biggest threats when the campaign started? Gephardt, Edwards, Kerry, Lieberman. There was also the conventional wisdom that Sharpton could possibly cause some problems in some early primaries.

So what happens?

The Democratic Party, controlled by Clintonistas, does not discourage but rather encourages Carol Mosley-Braun to enter the race, mitigating the risk that all blacks would rally to Sharpton.

Two unions, AFSCME and SEIU, which were in very tight with the Clintons, surprisingly come out and endorse Dean, mightily wounding Gephardt, whose entire campaign is based around union backing.

Wesley Clark, with full and barely hidden support of the Clintons, enters the race. He makes it that JFK can't monopolize the "I'm a vet" vote, and his Arkansas roots makes it that Edwards can't become the defacto southern candidate.

And well, poor Joe. He wasn't doing very well anyway, and besides Al Gore took care of him anyway.

And all the while, the DNC refuses to change the primary schedule, ensuring that the race would be over early (favoring the frontrunning Dean), and refuses to whittle the crowded field down (ensuring that no one can break from the pack and reach the frontrunning Dean).

And as far as I can remember, Wes Clark has gone after Dean not nearly as much as he has gone after the President. I would be more convinced that Clark was trying to defeat Dean if he would say more that indicated he was.

I just don't see what the Clintons have done or allowed to be done by their minions which has been harmful to Dean. A lot of the things done seem awfully helpful.

I've been saying she'd be the nominee, by a trumped-up "draft" at the "last minute". But she could settle for VP and, you know, "terrorists" might attack the President while he gives a speech to the VFW or something...

Morris understands Machiavellian politics, hidden agendas, and Hillary's mind. Follow the logic. The Clintons must keep control of the Dem party if Hillary is going to ever make Pres. By suggesting this scenario, Morris alerts Dean to what Hillary may be planning based on her earlier maneuvers, and thereby may prevent her success -- unless Dean is so naive as to take her aboard. She would eat him alive with her better poll numbers and White House experience. The Termagant would be his Terminator.

Didn't you notice how Morris played some great mind games with Gore during the 2000 election? This guy is brilliant -- in a Rasputin-type way.

If Dean wins the Democratic nomination, his biggest problem will be watching his back. Even if he wins most of the delegates at the Boston convention, it is still Bill and Hillary's party.

If Dean won the primary vote, and was snuffed at the convention. A great amount of Democrats would be disenchanted, which might keep them home on election day. Which would only hurt the Dems that much more.

With all this going on, I think it would be simply Hillaryous if Dean named someone like Nader to be his running mate.

Think it's farfetched?

Clearly, barring Armegeddon, no Dem is going to win the White House.

So if Dean will accept Gore's "F.U." to the Clintons, maybe he'll make a legacy for himself on the Left by taking on one of their heroes -- knowing full well he's going to lose anyway.

And what better way to diss the Clintons once and for all than by denying Her Heinous a place on the '04 ticket?
