L-Tryptophan an amino-acid

Otherwise touted as "Natures Prozac"

THAT"s why they banned it from the market!! Think of how much money the DRUG companies would lose!
But a smart Freeper can stil find it on line.

Also has been a great tool for my mothers depression caused by dementia.

Hydroxy-L-Tryptophan is a great product for depression and even for those who cannot sleep! You can also use it to help yourself stop the SSRIs and some mood enhancers.

For those looking for a pharmaceutical grade and standardized product, try Metabolic Response Modifiers (MRM) '5-HTP' (100mg caps). (No, I do not work for MRM..;)

Herbal remedies are very iffy....they may work for one person and actually exacerbate the condition for another person. I don't think depression or insomnia should EVER be treated with herbal remedies!
