The President today announced his next choice for Housing and Urban Development Secretary, Alphonso Jackson in the Roosevelt Room in the White House. Mr. Jackson is replacing Mel Martinez who resigned last week. Laura spent the morning at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, where she read to sick children, and watched the premiere showing of “BarneyCam II: Barney Reloaded” with them. Some goodies tonight, so enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Ari is hilarious! I loved him. He was so patient wiht the reporters (most of the time) just calmly repeating the same thing to their ignorant questions.

I also liked it when the Pres. told Barney it was time to go in and get some work done. What a FUN administration--good, clean fun!

My Mom says hi - we sat and watched the whole Laura Bush and the White House Christmas on HGTV, together in Hawaii. Now, I'm back in America's Finest City, yeah! Although Paradise WAS warmer, it was WETTER too! It was great to see my Mom. It's nice to be back (cable modem ;-) with you all too!!!
