The President today announced his next choice for Housing and Urban Development Secretary, Alphonso Jackson in the Roosevelt Room in the White House. Mr. Jackson is replacing Mel Martinez who resigned last week. Laura spent the morning at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, where she read to sick children, and watched the premiere showing of “BarneyCam II: Barney Reloaded” with them. Some goodies tonight, so enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Poor Chad...I can't believe it....Mike said Chad will be going to Ft. Campbell until the unit is stateside, they will link up there...Chad is trying to get back to Iraq to be with the unit...Mike doesn't see how that's possible with his injuries...

When I talked to Chad at Walter Reed and mentioned your Hubby 1sgt Mike, he said he wished he was back with his unit, his father jumped in and said "They're his extended family you know"

Chad's Father was a very talkative very friendly person, Chad looked at me like I was crazy for coming to see a stranger when I first introduced myself, but his Dad acted as if I was some long lost friend LOL, After 16 years in business and meeting thousands and thousands of people, Chad's father ranks up there with the most friendly people I've ever met. :-)

I hope Chad does what he wants, if he wants to go back to his unit, God Bless Him

One of my favorite parts of Barney's Paw Production was seeing Ari Fleischer. The playing poker scene was pretty good. Barney has a royal flush.
