If they meant the end of the year, that must mean the end of the muslim year, which is what? This Greater Bairam or Eid al Adha or around then? So before early Feb. which fits with all this now. Not the end of our year 2003.

Excellent point. Sorry for not being more tolerant and accepting of their outdated lunar calendar. I am just stuck in my own little euro-centric rut. :)

Well, I've seen December 10 and December 12, 2003 are highlighted on a lot of the calendars of the sites I have visited recently.

I saw early Feb. dates highlighted on a number of sites I passed through --- February 2, 2004 and February 4, 2004.

Not to be glib about it --- these jihadis hate Americans, Christians, Jews, and other assorted "infidels." Let's face it --- THEY HATE US AND WILL ATTACK US whenever they think they have found a weak spot and a window of opportunity.
