This past Friday night, I dreamed that Kansas beat Oklahoma. Not Kansas St, but Kansas. Close enough.

Eid al Adha holiday, in 2 months.

What kind of holiday is that? Oh well, I'll probably find out in Feb. when GWB explains it all to us .....and then proclaims it a "peaceful" holiday.

The kind of holiday where they set off bombs and kill people. Know of any other kind with that crew?

From http://www3.kumc.edu/diversity/ethnic_relig/eid-al-adha.html

Eid al-Adha or Feast of Sacrifice is the most important feast of the Muslim calendar. It concludes the Pilgrimmage to Mecca. Eid al-Adha lasts for three days and commemorates Ibraham's (Abraham) willingness to obey God by sacrificing his son. Muslims believe the son to be Ishmael rather than Isaac as told in the Old Testament. Ishmael is considered the forefather of the Arabs. According to the Koran, Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son when a voice from heaven stopped him and allowed him to sacrifice a ram instead.

The feast re-enacts Ibrahim's obedience by sacrificing a cow or ram. The family eats about a third of the meal and donates the rest to the poor.

Al Qaida preparing to strike Middle East
By JPOST.COM STAFF

Sources close to al Qaida warn the organization is planning a mega-strike in the Middle East around the date of the Moslem festival Eid el Idcha, reports Al Kuds al Arabi.

An al Qaida splinter organization told reporters that Osama bin Laden will soon distribute a cassette, following a terror attack "that will shake the entire region."

It was pretty well represented here on FR after the fact of one of the posters having a dream that seemed to parrot much of what happened on 9/11. I cannot remember the exact poster or thread, as it did get bumped after the fact a few times.

Anyway, here's to hoping that you just had too much junk food before going to bed....

Shake the Middle East?

Well, the ME is a lot about oil. Maybe the target will be a critical Saudi transportation/pumping hub. That would give a message to the House of Saud for sure, and satisfy Iran's interests.

Or if they want a religious war, they could go after "Romiyya" around Christmas...

Dang, can these turban boys talk trash or what?

And it increases as does their impotence to act, instead of talk.

February? Look, they've lost. The ranks have been culled. Or brought to justice, shot, killed, whatever. Those left are desperate. The whole game was to get us to quit, not to dig in. Bad calculations make the troops lose faith. It's over.

We've won.

They'll still get some hits in.

But, we've overwhelmed them. We have more money, more men, more time, more technology, and better ideas. Bush didn't cower when the liberal media showed blood. The American people didn't fold. And the bluff was called. They've lost.

The terrorists might not understand it's over, but freedom's players are counting chips.

Boy, they just keep pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off, and pushing it off.

How in the world is OBL going to get himself martyred by the end of this year unless they do their BIG THING soon.

Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.
