My email:
Dear Dr. Ryerson:
It has come to my attention that your school refuses to allow a Republican Club even though it does have a Democrat club ("Wells Democrats").
As a taxpayer, I object to this clear violation of free-speech rights subsidized by my tax dollars (the fact that you have your students submit a FAFSA tells me this). It also casts a grave shadow over alumnae from your institution and the value of a Wells education. This certainly will weigh heavily in my mind when I am evaluating job applicants from Wells -- something I must do from time to time.
I respectfully suggest that you cease discrimination at your school, less your federal funding be reviewed and your school's degrees be rendered suspect.
Thank you for your attention

Nice work. By the way, what's a FAFSA?

I would also bring this to the local upstate NY Republican Party. They will be irate that tax dollars are subsidizing the rats and that republicans find such blatant discrimination at this lock step, mind-numbed robot campus.
The pubbies can mobilize the removal of federal funds to this benighted backwater campus.

Hi, I'm a student at Wells, and a member of the (despised) campus Republicans.
I just wanted to clarify something- Wells Democrats is not yet an official group. They just reformed this semester after being defunct for a couple of years. Next semester will be their trial semester- the semester used to establish themselves and become active.
This semester has been the Wells CR trial semester- something I believe we have passed with flying colours. We are certainly one of the most active, hardworking and certainly most recognized group on campus.
What happened last night infuriates me- but they hoped to silence us last night because they didn't like hearing what we were giving them, and all I can say is that they have not silenced us. I don't believe they know they've awoken the sleeping dragon yet- but they will soon. The controversy is not going anywhere- we're stepping it up, and we will force them to take a long, hard look at their beliefs. Maybe we can change some more minds.
Just wanted to clarify that the Wells Dems are not official yet, but really, does anyone harbour any doubts that they'll be voted in with a landslide?
