WASHINGTON (CNN) -- An al Qaeda video, which appeared this week on an al Qaeda-affiliated Web site, shows the September 11, 2001, attack on New York's World Trade Center as filmed from an angle sources in Washington said they had not seen before.

Yes, somehow that memo seems to remain in the US -- it didn't reach the mohammedans, apparently.

I remember they caught three 'Middle-eastern' men filming it from New Jersey. But they had to let them go.

And I just found this. This is how the AQ types seem to view Bush. Well, works for me!

Are they kidding?
Sure, a new camera angle will draw jihadis from around the world...

I have a suggestion here for our CIA...make Al Qaeda training and recruiting tapes...yes...go for it and make our versions of the tapes. Pump them out...send them via the post....hand them out on streets near Muslim neighborhoods. Get them into the hands of the radicals. Tape number one: show them how to build a bomb...except the last step...where a test of the timer is involved...will malfunction everytime and kill the builder of the bomb. Tape number two: show a couple of the IMANs in compromising positions...with younger men...and talking of jihad. Connect jihad with sexual behavior that is not acceptable by most men. Tape number three: use a Muslim-looking female who crys about her lost wage earner...and that no one from the Mosque is helping her. Tape number four: toss a Muslim rap song into a middle of a recruitment video...with some characters dancing and singing 'shake your booty'.
We could take out their recruitment and training edge within two years. We have the technology...we have the actors...we have the chance to correct their agenda. And the cost...$1 to reproduce each tape?

I'm glad some people think this is funny.
I am pretty sure another attack is going to happen sooner or later--the wonder is that it hasn't happened yet.
Lots of smug liberals are back to monkey-business-as-usual. We know that a plane can't be taken with box knives ever again, but we also all know that this is not the only way to do a great amount of damage to our confidence, our economy, and our nation.
We should have moved on from Iraq to take Iran and Saudi Arabia as well. We should not have stopped till we had the entire axis of evil under our control, even if that meant a much huger military effort with the concomitantly sacrifices and effort required of the civilian population. But thanks to the liberal peaceniks, we're appearing weaker again. What we've done is like turning around at Normandy and getting back on the boat. Lots of stupid politicians are interrupting the process and undermining the troops, thereby heartening resistance and getting more of our people killed. Lots of liberals are ignoring the myriad good reasons for invading Iraq and their own pre-approval of the idea, in order to backbite, to disrupt our unity of purpose, and make it OKAY TO FORGET 9/11.
I'm mad about it. It's not okay to pretend that what was done to us has been adequately avenged. It's not okay to pretend that if we just change administrations it'll all go away.

I agree this is not funny.
There is something that you all are missing....
How did a videotape that was not shown to the public until now....and only known to the FBI and to be in the FBI's custody until now....show up on a jihadist web site??

I missed that the FBI knew about it. I assumed that someone who knew it was going to happen was prepared with a videocamera that day, and that this is the first time the American public OR authorities have been made aware of the images from this angle.

On what basis do you claim that the FBI had this tape? The statement in this article? Or is there another story on this that leads you to believe that?
This article only says: FBI officials said they were aware of the video, but declined further comment. It is not clear how al Qaeda obtained it.
I agree with ChemistCat's interpretation. The FBI is aware of the video because it showed up on a website this week, and they monitor they internet. It's quite a leap to suspect that they "don't know how AQ obtained the tape" means that it was in FBI custody before it showed up on the web.
I think CNN's Kelli Arena needs a lesson in precise writing. Or, more likely, a lesson in humility. When a reporter starts a sentence with "it's not clear how/why/who/where", it's usually a cover for: oops, I forgot to ask a pertinent question but I have to file the story now; or, I don't want to admit I'm not high enough on the food chain to get a clear answer.

So there were other AQ here, taping the attack. _______________________
Not necessarily. There are some folks who are blaming the JEWS.
The anti-war crowd are blaiming the Jews for the 9/11 video footage which appeared in the tapes recently released by Al-Qaeda.
SHOCK VIDEO: WHO SHOT NEW 9/11 TAPES?
Compare this statement:
"The tape also contains what U.S. counterterror experts say may be never-before-broadcast video of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York's World Trade Center shot from across the East River in Brooklyn.
With this statement:
"Hours after the terrorists struck, five people were arrested in New Jersey as they taped the WTC from their vantage point across the Hudson River in New Jersey".
We need to understand basic geography. Study a map of New York.
Brooklyn is to the EAST of Manhatten.
New Jersey is to the WEST of Manhatten.
And, in my humble opinion, Justin Raimondo is somewhere SOUTH of the Planet Uranus.

"As recently as two weeks ago, the intelligence community was telling the Homeland Security Department that this felt a lot like the summer of 2001," said Roger Cressey, a former counterterrorism official with the National Security Council. "[We're] seeing lots of data, lots of information coming together that paints a very disturbing picture." This statement needs to be studied..
