Today President George W. Bush signed the adoption promotion act of 2003 in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, which is aimed at moving more older children out of foster care and into permanent homes. More than a dozen children attended the adoption bill signing with their adoptive parents.
Later in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, President Bush attended a campaign fundraiser.
Also today, President George W. Bush made remarks alongside the best drivers of the 2003 Nascar season and their cars on the South Lawn of the White House. Bush honored the best drivers of the 2003 season, including Matt Kenseth, who won the 2003 Winston Cup series.

Wow, that sounds rough. I'm glad you are doing better. I remember craving protein after I had some surgery (althought nothing like the albumin depletion you describe), but the need for protein was intense. Healing tissues demanding it I suppose.
Rest and take care.

Denial is good, if it makes you feel better. I've been living with it for a very long time. I got married the same year I was born doncha know.
I was 29 for the looooongest time. Can't do that any longer as I've been married more than 30 years.
It also feels better that other people care about you, so total denial doesn't help that side.
Doesn't matter the age. No one is posting birth years on the dose.

Yes, it sounds like it would be better for the state to have those two Republicans not campaigning against one another.

Thanks for posting the dose Mtngrl. Some truly outstanding pictures tonight.
I just saw the film clip of the president with the troops on Thursday. There was a lot of joy on a lot of faces there. He truly does uplift and encourage and give hope to many people.

The light just shined out of the president's eyes today as he gazed as the kids who had been adopted.
And the clip that Brit Hume showed of the president bantering with a little 6 year old boy, who claimed he'd been 7 when adopted, was adorable.
May God continue to guide him and provide him wisdom and safety.
****
I saw that clip - it was one of the best Brit has ever shown. President Bush is so at ease with every person, isn't he. He is making remarks at one of his 3 or 4 public appearances of the day, and has time to interact with a tiny child who has a concern - without breaking stride.

I was thinking today that this is the first time in my life that I have ever loved a president. I've liked a lot of them, and been awfully fond of a few, but this one I love.

The troops were waiting in line for their food, had been waiting for an hour and she comes along and bumps to the head of the line. It sounded like they had to wait outside while she ate. Are you serious????
What a BLEEPING WITCH!

Thanks for your thoughts and wishes.
I am now turning my prayers to MS.BEHAVIN who has knee surgery scheduled for tomorrow to repair torn cartilage. I know the Holy Spirit will be with her.
Now I'm going to be a good girl and lie down so I don't swell up so much again...still a fair amount of swelling left.
Thanks to all!

HOW can we publicize the nasty things she's doing, so other Dems see she's really just in it for herself? Unfortunately, those are the people who don't see it that way--they see it another way that those of us with Republican eyes can't see. I just keep thinking that one day she's REALLY going to screw up, more than can be fixed and it will all come to haunt her. And I hope it's on live TV.
Remember the movie with Demi Moore and that cute guy (brain fart and can't think of it but he's famous) and she wanted to renew her relationship wiht him but he was married and turned her down? She got revenge by setting him up in the company to take the blame for computer parts not working? Then he did some research and found video where she'd been at the factory after she claimed she hadn't been, and it was in front of a whole crowd of big-shots from the company. She tried to deny it but looked like a major fool and ended up getting fired. I know someone will know it, but that's how I hope Hillary gets her payback--in public, and is totally humiliated. That's not a very Christian thing to say, but after all she's done I do hope it.

It was one of the best clips.
When Bush was first running, I met him several times at the debates. He came off very personably. Then I saw him on television and he didn't "project" and I told my husband he couldn't win because he didn't have that television "Q" factor. (Boy was I wrong).
That clip tonight somehow captured what it is one sees in Bush in person. It captured his essence and inner, innate goodness.
