[history]
President Bush's standing with the public has improved since his surprise Thanksgiving trip to Iraq amid signs of a stronger economy and following congressional passage of a prescription drug benefit under Medicare.
Bush's job approval was at 61 percent in the National Annenberg Election Survey conducted the four days after the holiday, up from 56 percent during the four days before Thanksgiving. Disapproval of the president dropped from 41 percent to 36 percent, according to the poll released Tuesday.

I think this should be "Frontpage news" here.
I added it, but the thread still stayed at "extended news".
Please move it up to Frontpage, if you agree with me. :)

"Public opinion about Bush personally also improved during the four-day, post-holiday span, with an increase in the number who view him favorably from 65 percent to 72 percent. Republicans shifted from 83 percent with a favorable view of Bush personally to 94 percent. Democrats moved from 46 percent to 55 percent."News Media Leftists still don't grasp that last fact. They can't comprehend that more than half of all Democrats view President Bush favorably.
This is why they keep ignoring the advice of hyper-savvy politicians in their own Party such as Senator Zell Miller, former NYC Mayor Ed Koch, Andrew Cuomo, and even former California Governor Jerry Brown.
Well, that and the fact that media Leftists live inside a group-think echo-chamber that only hears one perspective, filtering out all meaningful feedback from the real world much to their own detriment.

This is significant. So why isn't this headline news in the media? Every time Bush's approval drops a point or two, it's headline news.

He took to the flight, while He could be safe in Texas, enjoying good meal. Nothing beats that! I just can not imagine the morale boost for great man and woman in uniform that this visit had. They must feel so amaze and proud.

That's my question, just what is Hillery!'s approval number and what has it done this week?

All together, now. "Tom Daschle is saddened." Tom Daschle is not just saddened, he is deeply shocked!
This poll can not be accurate. TIME magazine said that people hate Bush.
To: FairOpinion
By the way the Annenberg poll is not the most friendly poll for Bush. The real number is probably closer to 70%
