President Bush secretly landed an hour ago and is currently eating Thanksgiving dinner at my undisclosed location. Anticipate a press release after he takes off.

You gotta love this guy......sending $500 to RNC today!Having just sent Dell a good bit more than that, I'll refrain from making such a huge donation (though I may send something).
This was a bold move on his part, but the effects on our troops, the public, and Saddam's dwindling band of supporters is bound to be huge. He flew into the "quagmire" right under Saddam's nose!!

You can bet that the press is going to say that he went because she is over there.Well, the White House should counter by saying it was reversed...Hillary found out Bush was going, so she tried to go first.
It would take a lot more planning to get the president there than it would the junior senator from NY. (I'm thankful for living in KS!)

CNN reporter in Baghdad now saying that "Now, the President steps in and does it for a short while... long term effects we can't say at this point... this is Iraq and the President came and went in two hours... "
"What the President did was very important from the standpoint of his administration..."
"A very bold gesture by the President of the US"

In case anyone missed the news of the day, Pres. Bush courageously risked SAMs and Hillary's press corps, landed at Baghdad Int'l Airport with Air Force One's lights off ~ to thank the troops in Baghdad for Thanksgiving.
See #100.

Eleanor: Bush is claiming Iraq as a victory.
Asman: Wait a minute, I'm not hearing anything about a victory trip....
[Asman is verbally slappying Eleanor.]

Did you just hear Eleanor Clift call the President's visit to the troops, a victory trip? David Asman jumped right on her for it.
To: StriperSniper
I love how David interrupted Eleanor. Eleanor likes to talk over everyone else.

Gregory said the pool reporter was from another network. Suppose FNC would be too much to hope for.
To: ChiefKujo
Good stuff!!!
I've gotten a kick out of reading the posts on this thread about how this wasn't breaking news and how you were wrong. This will be the biggest story of the day. heh heh
Happy Thanksgiving!
