For all the coverage generated by the 40th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination this past weekend, the media managed to miss the only genuine news to emerge from the commemoration. Nellie Connally, wife of former Texas Gov. John Connally and the only person still alive who rode in the presidential death limousine, publicly disputed for the first time the Warren Commission's "magic bullet" theory, a scenario absolutely essential to its finding that Lee Harvey Oswald was Kennedy's lone assassin.
A year after the assassination the Commission concluded that Kennedy and Gov. Connally were both wounded by the first shot fired by Oswald from the Texas School Book Depository. A second shot missed completely. A third shot slammed into Kennedy's head and splattered his brains throughout the car.
But Mrs. Connally told CNN's Larry King that Kennedy and her husband couldn't have been struck by the same bullet, because she watched her husband react over a period of two seconds after the first shot struck the president.
"John [Connally] sitting right in front of him knew it was a shot," the former Texas first lady said. "He's a hunter and a shooter, you know. . . ."
Mrs. Connally continued:
"So he turned quick to his right and he couldn't see [Kennedy] because he was directly in front of him. And he said, 'No, no, no' and turned to his left. . . . Now this is a second or two. Then, as he whirled back, the second shot hit John . . ."
When pressed about the single bullet theory adopted by the Warren Commission, Mrs. Connally told King, "Do you think a bullet that went through the president's neck can hang there in air between the two seats while John turned to the right, turned to the left and came back?
"That's what I asked the Warren Commission," she explained. "I said, 'I don't believe a bullet could do that. That bullet -- the same bullet did not hit both of them.'"

It is truly amazing what a bullet can do. Have you ever seen a bullet "zipper" someones head ( shot in the front, or side , and followed the top of the skull all the way around before exiting)? I have a family member who works in an ER and had a guy who did it "twice" in a row trying to kill himself !! Poor guy, after having his head zippered once, he immediately did it again !! Then gave up and called 911 !

And again, Oswald's own brother, who of all people on earth has a reason to try and find evidence to exonerate his brother, has found none. Not if someone got to him. Blood, money and power can make a man say anything.

This is what I see. I have watched it at full speed, half speed, and converted each individual frame into html so I can look at a frame, and click on it to go forward one frame at a time.
The limo mysteriously appears in about frame 133. I heard there were some frames that were bad or lost.
Kennedy waves at the crowd, raising his right hand in about frame 174. His right hand remains elevated, and he is looking to his right, until about frame 196.
Connally is looking to his right.
There is no obvious signs of distress yet, but Kennedy's arm maks a somewhat suspicious upward motion in frame 199.
In frame 213, Kennedy disappears behind the sign. Kennedy emerges in 224. He looks ok.
Kennedy apears to be struck in 227. Over the next 10 frames or so, his left hand goes up and he clutches his throat.
Connally starts to turn in 236.
For the next 40 frames or so, you see Connally totally turn around and look at Kennedy. He starts to turn back towards the fron in frame 289.
Still, no signs of distress for Connally, he is almost totally turned back around forward in frame 312.
Frame 313. The fatal head shot.
Frame 316. No signs of distress for Connally. The next 4 frames are somewhat blurred.
Beginning in frame 320, you see Connally getting pushed down, and towards the front. You can barely see his wife in 321, but in 322 and the subsequent frames, it is obvious Connally was hit.
There is no doubt that he was hit by different shots that hit the president. And 8 frames difference between 313 and 322 are less than one half second at 18.3 FPS, impossible for Oswald to have done.

I hear ya ... I still believe there are three hits registered in the limo and at least a fourth round that hit the curb out front and left of the mark. Personally, I think Oswald was used for diversion, to allow the 'team' to melt away. LHO wasn't too bright.

Years ago I heard there were a couple of people up on the lawn who dived to the ground, because they saw a slug impact in the grass right near them. That would make a total of 5 shots, so far, in good agreement with the acoustical evidence. But there is no doubt Kennedy is hit in 313, and Connally not hit till around 320-322, and absolute impossibility for a single man with a bolt action rifle.

You might want to go back and study the film a little closer
Coinciding with his testimony, Gov. Connally's rightward headsnap begins back around Z-163; he has just heard the first shot.
"Kennedy emerges in 224. He looks ok. "
Check Gov. Connally's right lapel on Z-224 next time, this is a crucial frame.
"Kennedy emerges in 224. He looks ok. "
This is Z-225; hardly "ok" Both JFK and JBC have clearly been hit. This fits with JBC's testimony also.
Kennedy apears to be struck in 227. Over the next 10 frames or so, his left hand goes up and he clutches his throat.
The "clutching throat" is a misnomer encountered frequently in Z-film discussion.
Close examination of the film shows his hands never touch his throat. His left hand, to me, tensely clenched, rather feebly begins to tug at his left lapel; his right hand goes over his mouth and nose. These are significant movements the ABC computer animation for instance, poorly simulated.
Z-237 - note the facial contortion is extreme at this point, whether this from his hand or other forces is unknown to me.
There's still a lot going on in this film that hasn't yet been explained.

The conspirators are dying off and more and more are clearing their conscience before their life ends. Glad to see Mrs Connally come clean.

How plausible is it that one bullet could have done all that this one is required to have done? For the magic bullet to have done what it had to do to satisfy the three-shot requirement, it would have had to pass through Kennedy's back, out Kennedy's neck, into Connaly's shoulder, richochet down and to the left to strike Connaly in the arm hard enough to break the bone, pass through his arm and into his leg with enough residual force to chip another bone, exit the leg, then hide in Connaly's clothes until he gets to the hospital, then exit Connaly's leg by means of worming its way free onto a strecher at Parkland Hospital, then conceal itself long enough so that it was not dicovered until JFK's body was already back in Washington. I've never seen it put so well. :^)

Sorry,Mrs Connelly but recent clearing up of the Zapruder film shows a simultaneous bump in your hubby's jacket as Kennedy is shot in the throat.............hit wih the same bullet.........Why is she ' an expert' anyway.Being in the actual car means nothing, she was facing forward at the time of the shooting beginning. And Connelly himself was wrong to believe two shooters.............. the ' holding onto the hat ' is a red herring.....sometimes the body holds onto things in pain by sheer unconscious luck........

All I can say is let's not forget that the film was held for 12 years before the public saw it, and it's been spliced (some witnesses say to eliminate a bullet striking the Stemmon's Freeway sign, the sign was removed a few days after the assassination). It'd be pretty easy to blacken in a triangle to show a lapel flip. I could believe some wouldn't feel a bullet strike, but not a bullet that goes through the body and stikes bone in 2 or 3 places. That hurts like hell.

Here's a few more pictures of the Magic Bullet. This piece of metal never hit human skin, much less bone. I think it was fired into a pile of clothes.

LBJ was one one the most corrupt and dissolute men in the history of American public life. His career is the key to understanding what happened in Dallas in 1964.You got it!
