I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.
This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.
To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Just click below and fire away!

Arabs who use terrorism to empower theocracies are the enemy.I agree. And what about the people on this thread who want to use the power of government ot outlaw religions other than their own. Could I consider them the enemy, too?

Really? It's the "Holy Men" who incite it? Much like the "Holy Men" in this country who incite hatred, bigotry, and violence? Pretty much very religion has them, ya know - people who use their religion as an excuse for killing.

This isn't about any of that, so try and stay on topic please.
This is about people on this thread who want Muclims to have less rights in this country. About people who want the power of the government to be turned against those who believe differently. Period. They use all kinds of justification for it, but none of it stands up to scrutiny. What it boils down to is that some people are intolerant bigots about religion, and some or not. Which kind of person are YOU?

Does it matter? I have Muslim neighbors, Baptist neighbors, Methodist neighbors, Pentacostal Neighbors. Heck, I even live near some of those graven image-worshipping heathen Catholics. I don't like it, I tell ya, and I want their religions banned. All except the Baptist fath, that is, cuz that's MY religion.

No, you didn't deal with it. You missed the point. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, my friend.

Historically speaking, all religions have a history of not playing nicely with others but most have updated their image and ideology...
I think Islam is the most tolerant religion and I also believe that communism is the best form of government...on paper.... However, in practice, they have horrendous shortcomings because of the abuses of power and complete disregard for the free will and rights of individuals....
It is like most project plans that do not survive the beginning of implementation because human feelings, desires, fears, and needs color the interpretation of the ideas....

Examine the pictures closely, these are the faces of those you claim to be our enemies Actually, I think we are talking about the real enemies of freedom and self rule, and of course, the whackjob muslims of Detroit and Seattle who were dancing and cheering in the streets after 9/11.
Not the peaceful folks.

Your POV could benefit from listening to those who have escaped Muslim countries.
Your first lesson should be to understand that Islam is not a religion - it is in fact a full blown ideology with a system of laws already built into it called Sharia.
Every "good" Muslim knows that Sharia is part and parcel of their "religion" Now you do too.

Yes it is a free country. And they are free to broadcast anything within the bounds of the FCC contracts they agreed to.
You are also free to say anything you want in any forum you own, or anything the owner of the forum or media you are using allows you to say. However the fact that you were reduced to calling names and labeling people tends to indicate you do not have a real leg to stand on, whether you do or not.
Further I have found that when people only call names without logically supporting them, or resort to physical distortions of their opponents that are both physically improbable and impossible to know over a forum such as this, the name caller is usually projecting some aspect of their own deficiencies and defects onto the opponent they are calling the name.
Further you have given away your own bias. You said that you would call in and give support for the content of the broadcast, implying personal and emotional attachment to the content of the broadcast message which most of us here do not have, instead of giving support for their right to broadcast in spite of the financial burden of losing the paying customers for the products advertised on that station, which most of us here at FR would agree with.
If I have made errors in either facts or conclusiions, please correct me. I, as opposed to some here, hate to believe a lie.

I suppose you were being funny, if not all those "Christian" faiths are not going to blow up your house unless they have buddied up with the tenants of ISLAM.
You need to read the Koran and what it teaches about the non-muslim world.

Or, you could be walking by a federal building or abortion clinic and be killed in the name of God Did I mention that it was reported that Tim McVeigh had also "submitted?"

So the Jews also disbelieve in the divinity of Jesus; should we dismiss their religion as satanic and their God as evil, too?
To: missyme
Well, considering that Christians make up the largest religion in this country, one could say that the majority of murders in thsi country are committed by Christians, right? ;0)

Not at all. I am certain that in prehistoric Egypt someone was indeed thrown from a cliff; it also happened in prehistoric Sweden, too. (sheesh)
