I'm asking for prayers formy sister, Lucia. She had surgery several years ago for removal of a brain tumor. She underwent radiation, etc.

Her latest CT Scan showed a new growth. She called me last evening; she sounds upbeat, but I know she is scared.

Thank you, prayer warriors.

I have a special prayer request. I just talked to the mother of my special patient (Angel) and she gave permission for me to tell his story and ask for your prayers.

Angel was born on January 19; full term, and appeared perfect. However, when his Mom tried to feed him, he choled and turned blue. He was brought to our NICU and diagnosed with a tracheal-esophogeal atresia. He had surgery immediately to repair the trachea, but has been in the NICU growing until his esophagus can be repaired. He has constant suction to the back of his throat, and has had several complications.

In spite of his problems, he is developing normally, and is the SWEETEST baby. He coos and smiles and kicks and reaches for his toys, and enchants everyone with his big blue eyes.

He is going to have his major surgery on May 18, and we're hoping that his esophagus has grown enough that it could be connected without having to use part of his intestine, which would make life a LOT hareder for him.

Please pray for a miracle for Angel

Thank you and God Bless and Happy Mother's Day to all our wonderful ladies.

Love,

Donna

I'd like to ask for prayers for my first grandchild, Jack, born on 10/12/04. He has a heart problem called "Long QT Wave" and is to receive a pacemaker tomorrow 10/15/04. The doctors have told us that if he makes it to 18 months (50/50) he will get a defibrillator inserted in his abdomen.

Other than the heart problem he looks perfect. In fact I'd say he's the cutest damn kid I've ever seen:) He weighed 7 lb 8 oz and was born at 10:12 a.m. on 10/12/04. Thanks for your prayers.

Well we want to send up Praise as a flatbed boon truck with a load of lumber lost control coming a half an acre through our property taking full grown pine trees, alder trees, my fruit trees, the chain link fence and wooden fence, two gate and the deck in the front of the house.

Praise God no one was hurt as the truck stopped six feet from being in my house, on the right missed the garage by three feet and on the left 10 feet over it would of taken out the whole Masterbedroom. It landed perfectly in the alcove between the garage and masterbedroom. Amazing.

Pics below it shook up the driver so we have been lifting him up in prayer.

The newspaper came out to take pics, along with a deputy and lotsa on lookers who said IT IS A MIRACLE IT MISSED THE HOUSE!

The truck was air borne at one point so landing as it did was incredible.

Praise be to God!

We have a new little one to add to our prayers. Will someone please ping the entire ping list?

Freeper Guenevere's new granddaughter was born on December 10, 2004. Emily Jane was 2 1/2 months early and was delivered by C-section after her mother (Jenny) developed Preeclampsia. She weighed 2 lb. 9 oz, and is 15 in. long.

Here are some posts by Guennie with more info, including their faith and praise to God for this new blessing in their lives:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1296017/posts?page=124#124 (from yesterday)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1296807/posts?page=74#74 (from today, after getting home from the hospital after Emily's birth)

When Guenevere called a FReeper friend to have her post about the successful birth, she reported that Emily is breathing on her own and the nurses describe her as strong and feisty. She has dark hair and is very beautiful. The doctor said her reflexes were quite good and she is doing just fine. She is NOT in an incubator.

We praise God for this new miracle and ask His blessings on Emily; her parents, grandparents, and other family members; and the medical professionals caring for the wee one.

Please tell your story on this thread, and ask Brad's Gramma or mOSby to ping their lists.

You're due for a miracle, and I'm praying that you receive one.

Love,

Donna
