When we reached Baghdad, much was made of the underground tunnel
system. Have the tunnels been completely mapped and secured?

Dana of Fox just said as much, and has removed his flak jacket.

The US lacks the will to do what is required to win.
Every day we sit there sinking further into the sand, encourages muslim attacks worldwide.
If we lose this front we may lose the homeland.

Rockets hidden in a DONKEY CART! Welcome to the 8th century. What's next - a good rock toss and a Super Soaker would get these as$holes back into their crevices.

Improvised. The current buzz-acronym for anti-humvee roadside bombs.

Greta can tell you everything. She even had twice-removed relatives of someone who visited the ranch once and Michael's personal magician on tonight for an hour! Oh, sorry - back to Iraq.

Dana Lewis is an excellent ME reporter; he was a good hire by Fox.

Thanks, I knew I had to have heard it before, but it just escaped me. I guess it's time for bed, which is what I said to myself just before this attack.
'Nite all.

LOL - by now Sadaam could have had plastic surgery and
rival MJ as the "phantom of the breaking nose".

They hit with RPGs we respond with tanks and Apache helicopters. We're lucky there's no general uprising. The present level of violence will run it's course. I wouldn't spend a lot of time worrying about the outcome. I believe we can master the situation at least adequately.

Yup, he said(close)"of course I don't like my hotel hit by an RPG first thing in the morning, but I'm not leaving, it's my job." Gotta love it. ;-)

Attacks on US troops down 70% since the start of Operation Squeeze'em Tighter.
When you've got 'em by the balls, their hearts and minds will follow.

I bet they have "attack dates" pre-set for when communications break down.
If we loos contact attack on dates X, Y, and Z.

I believe (as a person just mentioned) it is a special holiday at the end of Ramadan, and I *think* Muslims give presents then. That could be not good.
There's a certain hint of a Mardi Gras-ish nature to Eid, being the end to a lot of fasting and such, not that people are getting plastered on alcohol and throwing beads to women to get them to flash their breasts or anything.
There still is no particular pattern to AQ terror attacks or the Iraq insurgency that would indicate that Ramadan in any way is some especially particular focus of a time to attack, as much as people want there to be.

FNC about 15 minutes ago said Oil Ministry hit by one rocket and that there were sounds of automatic gunfire in the streets around the Palestine hotel. CNNfn about 10 minutes ago said Oil Ministry on fire. CNNfn just a minute ago Oil Ministry hit by 3 rockets, Jane Araaf live line at top of the hour.

I am glad you are optimistic about this. I do believe we will win in the end. But from where I am sitting and watching on a daily basis, this is far from being over. I think that Iraq is the stage for now. And I am watching these islamic scum of the earth terrorist's threats become reality even before 9/11. Was'nt it just yesterday morning the 2nd car bomb in Istanbul. How many were killed, how many were injured? How many more countries was threatened for aiding us, Kuwait, Australia, Japan, etc. I just don't underestimate or take these monsters lightly.

That's the root of the problem with Muslims right there; they need to loosen up more.
Believe me, a weekend in the French Quarter and a man will forget all about that Jihad business.
