Would this be the same Zbig-- Zb-- guy who said,
Q: And neither do you regret having supported the Islamic fundamentalism, having given arms and advice to future terrorists?
A: What is most important to the history of the world? The Taliban or the collapse of the Soviet empire? Some stirred-up Moslems or the liberation of Central Europe and the end of the cold war?

They are not interested in making friends, they would rather make war on anyone for the flimsiest reasons; Yeah, we're just dogs of war unleashed, ain't we? I can't imagine what our beef was with Afghanistan. They only housed the Taliban that killed 3,000 of our citizens. And Iraq? Good heavens, they're only butchers, imperialist aggressors, and nuclear tinkers. How could anybody want to fight THEM????
they are overthrowing old alliances;
Only the ones that no longer serve any purpose. Besides, an occasional housecleaning is good for the soul.
they are only interested in making war on terrorism
Yeah, imagine that!
(which he finds hard to define and understand);
Of that I have no doubt.
we are, so this view goes, apparently interested in overthrowing our idealistic traditions.
Like those ideals of freedom, security, liberty, sovereignty, independence, strength, integrity, ...
Oh yeah, and one more thing: we dont understand what is going on abroad.
On this point, I agree wholeheartedly. The difference between me and the Zbig man are that I don't give a damn.

we are, so this view goes, apparently interested in overthrowing our idealistic traditions. The idealistic "traditions" instituted by King Franklin (Roosevelt) the First are not the idealistic traditions of America's founding fathers.
America's founding involved a nation of rugged men and women that fiercely fought for independnce and freedom.
Individualism and individual freedom are America's founding ideals, not collectivism and servitude for all.

Can anyone name an issue of foreign policy that ZB has not carefully placed himself on both sides of, and then, when pressed, jumped to the side least favorable to our national interests?

By Zigs logic, the ongoing train of islamofascist attacks against the US [beginning with the 1st attack on the WTC just after the beginning of the quisling Arkietrash regime in 93] does not warrant a systematic response with force. We should not try to kill islamofascist terrorists, we should blather with them and play back Warren [Bunny] Christopher speeches about how to do business with failed islamic countries [underwritten by the US taxpayer, of course]. Zig is really a sorry case, guaranteed to be on the wrong side of every contest, always against his adopted country. The moral is, these anti American lefties never change their spots. And to a man they are livid about Bush's foreign policy, because it will succeed and very possibly preempt the Foggy Bottom/CFR/UN approach to business for some time to come.

Actually, in his book (the name escapes me right now) he wrote about 15 years ago, he specifically pointed out that the US had to install a puppet government in Afganistan......going on and on about the gas / oil pipeline needed and the strategic importance of it all. Now we see our boy Karzaid (sp?) board member of Unical in there as President. Pretty cool, hugh?
Rather prophetic, wouldn't you say?
