We don't usually report what's in the National Enquirer, but we have to point out the hypocrisy of the left-wing media establishment, which gladly cited the tabloid's reports on Rush Limbaugh but has been silent on its drug allegations about NBC's Matt Lauer and now new revelations about Democrat diva Barbra Streisand. The Enquirer's Nov. 25 issue charges, "Barbra Streisand's fanatical support of the CBS movie smearing President Ronald Reagan wasn't just politics - it was personal!"
Babs' son, Jason Gould, who appeared in her movie "The Prince of Tides," is infected with AIDS, the tabloid says, and she has repeatedly cited the Democrat party line that Reagan should have done more to stop the disease.
She said as far back as 1992 that she would "never forgive" Reagan for his positions on AIDS education and research. "Streisand hates Reagan so much it clouds her judgment, insiders insist," the weekly reports.
The Enquirer notes that Malibu Barbi has worked on at least three projects with the producers of "The Reagans," Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, "who are known for their gay advocacy projects and remakes of musicals."
"There is absolutely no way Barbra didn't see the script before production started," the Enquirer quotes a source as saying.
Michael Paranzino, a former GOP congressional staffer who launched BoycottCBS.com, said, "And that is why CBS found themselves just three weeks out, realizing that they had a hatchet job on their hands."
So how come the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, CBS etc. cited the Enquirer's reports on Bill Clinton and O.J. Simpson but are giving Streisand a pass?

Her son contracted AIDS during the 90s.Bingo. But, then, it must be the fault of the following Republican, depending upon the year of the infection:
1. 1990-92: Bush 41's fault
2. 1993-98: "Republicans in Congress"'s fault
3. 1999-present: Bush 43's fault

Yeah, what was wrong with Reagan? Why wasn't he running around and physically restraining the many homosexual men who wanted to get intimate with other men?

"She needs to read And the Band Played ON..." Plus lengthy sections of David Horowitz's memoir, Radical Son. The gay rights crowd sabotaged every early effort to head off the disaster. Makes it difficult for them to condemn others who call homosexuality a nihilistic, self-destructive lifestyle.

You just nailed it.

Sources say - somebody says - we got angry over what was said about the Reagan's (about aids) in the proposed movie for CBS. Does anyone really have any idea that Streisand would actually blame Reagan that her son has aids. Somehow I doubt that - she might have wanted more research money for it (don't know that so now I'm just as bad)but I don't know and neither does either of these (newsmax or NE) seem to know either.

The article does not say she blames Reagan specifically for her son's disease. The headline, as headlines will often do, throws a teaser line out there to draw in readers and it looks like it worked!

Saw a cover of one of the tabloids last week that was labelled "Actresses Without Make-up" or something to that effect.
The most scary picture on it was one of B.S.
I'm talking serious, Boris Karloff scary.

Couldn't have had anything to do with her son's lifestyle, could it? Do these people ever take responsibility for anything?

"A good mother would have taught her son better." Oh surely you're not suggesting that she should have taught him that having sex with other boys was... *GASP*...wrong?

Reagan should have done more to stop the disease. He did.
He avoided having sex with Jason.
Oh wait, there I go getting hung up on that whole "accepting responsibility for the consequences of one's own actions" thing.

It sure likes like yet another man is about to stuff a weiner in that boy's face...
Barbara would surely approve.
Where was Reagan, and when did he know?

"Why is it Reagan's fault that you contract a deadly disease through risky personal behaviour" Don't you know that AIDS is caused by a lack of government funding? < /sarcasm >

"Who is Pat Buchanan to pronounce anyones love invalid?" Someone who is obviously more familiar with God's word (not to mention the laws of nature) than you are.
"I dont think its easy to grow up gay anywhere"
It's not supposed to be.
"Its painful"
Pain is God's way of letting you know something is wrong.
"I think weve made some big strides now, we dont have to apologize for being gay"
And you call THAT progress? I call it disgusting and cause for great concern.

"We should warn Animal rights groups like PETA" Why? What an adult man and dog choose to do in the privacy of their own home is nobody else's business. It's just about sex! That's a private matter. < /sarcasm >
