Why isn't anyone making a deal about the fact that this type of filibuster is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!!!!???
NEVER in the history of the country...NEVER in more than two centuries of American government, has a federal judicial nominee been DENIED a vote...NEVER! The dems are so desperate for power, they are willing to walk all over the Constitution to get it.

Hatch is all over it now.

Your absolutely right excepting that it should be a normal majority vote as intended by the constitution.
There is a difference in Legislative matters and the use of the filibuster. That's between the Senators themselves and they may apply their "own" filibuster rule. (There's usually some wheeling-dealing in the background).
But this matter is between the President and the Senators and they can't have their rules applied to a Presidential Power.
I do think this is a matter for the Supreme Court to decide.
