True - but they do not have the big money to back them up as does Pelosi and her rich, rich hubby. It is confounding how many businesses they are connected with in one form or another. From limos to real estate. With dems it's always, always money wields power and we must always follow the money.
Boxer is a useful idiot - as are the others you named. Their power comes from a compliant press. Pelosi's power is money and the threats she makes to withold dem support for a candidate who does not play ball.

Q. What is the Federalist Society? A. It is an organization of 25,000 lawyers, law students, scholars, and other individuals who believe and trust that individual citizens can make the best choices for themselves and society. It was founded in 1982 by a group of law students interested in making sure that the principles of limited government embodied in our Constitution receive a fair hearing. Click HERE for a more detailed backgroud.Q. How does the Federalist Society carry out its mission? A. The Society's main purpose is to sponsor fair, serious, and open debate about the need to enhance individual freedom and the role of the courts in saying what the law is rather than what they wish it to be. We believe debate is the best way to ensure that legal principles that have not been the subject of sufficient attention for the past several decades receive a fair hearing. Click HERE for a more detailed purpose. Q. Does the Federalist Society take positions on legal or policy issues or engage in other forms of political advocacy? A. No. The Society is about ideas. We do not lobby for legislation, take policy positions, or sponsor or endorse nominees and candidates for public service. While overall the Society believes in limited government, its members are diverse and often hold conflicting views on a broad range of issues such as tort reform, privacy rights, and criminal justice. Q. Who joins the Federalist Society? A. Many prominent lawyers, law students, and scholars in America are members or involved with our work. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to join the Society, and the organization often attracts people who share a desire for public service. |

Is that neat?I like it, Howlin. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get some talk shows that aren't available in my area but the music, CSpan, Fox News, etc. are great when one is on the road, in an office or otherwise without a television or cable. If you have a newer GM or Honda or have a casette deck in your car you will have the easiest installation. Plus they have home adapter sets that allow you to hook the unit up to a receiver in about 30 seconds.

"Yes: 50% No: 50%
8340 total votes" Say, look at that. Didn't Harry Reid say that "over 10,000 people had voted" about 30 mins ago? Seems that they may have let out the results of their ballot stuffing prior to counting all the votes, AGAIN!

Quoting the (Red) Star Tribune: ""This is inanity piled on top of absurdity," said Sen. Mark Dayton, D-Minn. He said he would rather spend the time debating bills involving prescription drugs or energy. Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., who will speak at 3:00 a.m. Thursday, said it will be time well spent. He was on of nine Republican senators chosen by the leadership to plan the event. He intends to stay up all night, participating in a news conference at 2 a.m. and presiding over the Senate for 30 minutes at 4 a.m. "I want to be able to say to the people that I represent that I gave every bit of energy that I had to make sure that the Constitution was upheld,"he said."
Way to go, Norm!
Mark Dayton is inanity piled on top of absurdity...
Let's hope this whole effort pays off....
Sessions responds to Durbin's complaints his request to consider legislation was denied by suggesting he should have brought it up during Reid's Monday night discussion of rabbits and cactus.
Specter now attacking Reid for wasting time.
