Thanks
I might need some more mood altering drugs if I'm still here when this is over.
Schumer is such a schmuck.

Just once, I'd like to see the Pubs ask one on these idiots to define mainstream and get their views on record. Schummer says he doesn't like far left wing judges either, hmmm. Maybe Santorum should ask him to join in sponsoring the impeachment of the entire 9th circuit to get his head to explode.

What did Warner just say to Chuckie? To which he responded "I'll be happy to."

Being voted down in committee is the same as being filibustered? Since when? Chuckie-baby, ya lost the Senate! Get over it, Bucko!

And why would that be Chuck?
To: A Citizen Reporter
Chuckie: "Melts under the sunshine of a distant logic?" HUH?
Sorry. Incoming call bumped me offline.

I wanted to slap him through the tv set and tell him he is a prime example of why democrats are being shown the door. Their corruption knows no limit, they have gone too far, all the way to treason and sedition, and they will pay for it at the polls.
To: SCHROLL
Remember, to a socialist (approx 40 out of 48 dems in the senate), a normal lefty/liberal is considered moderate...and a real moderate is considered a radical conservative.
To: A Citizen Reporter
What did Warner just say to Chuckie? Something like...die, you dog...shut the ** up.

Chuck Schumer is on the floor right now, talking about "the cooling saucer" of the Senate. As usual, he's got it wrong. Any competent student of the writing of the Constitution knows that the story concerns George Washington, not James Madison.
Now he's claiming that the Constitution "does not require a majority for judicial nominees." Every competent student of the Constitution knows that whenever it means a supramajority should apply, it says exactly that.
The very clause this fool is referring to, the "Advise and Consent" clause, does give the Senate a supramajority requirement on treaties, but not on confirmation votes.
This is SO clear, and Schumer is not THAT stupid, that I must conclude that he is LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH. (Sorry for shouting, but it seemed called for.)

Schumer is misrepresenting the Fortas filibuster. He was already on the SCOTUS, was nominated to be Chief Justice. There was a bipartisan cloture vote, won by a majority in the Senate, and sensing no way to win Fortas ask President Johnson to withdraw his nom., which Johnson did forthwith without a fight.
To: Capitalism2003
WOO HOO! The minority time has expired...unfortunately, they don't understand the meaning.
Egads...Chuckie has mentioned the "C" word (Clinton) again.

Carl Levin now saying that we shouldn't be talking about the judiciary because the economy is so terrible. Carl Lenin doesn't want to talk about the judiciary since this assclown has blue slipped 4 judges here in Michigan.
Don't blame me. I voted for Rocky
