This is only a talkathon by Frist and the Pubbies..... Daschle and the Dems decided to join in the fun and get their licks in also..... Heck tough duty....... allocate an hour to some 30 Pubs and let them share 30 minutes each with some Dem and we'll have a gab fest.... Your tax dollars at work..... At least they aren't raising taxes in this 30 hour gab fest...... Agreed. This is nonsense, foisted by the impotent 'pubs to deflect the quite justifiable criticism that they are folding to the Dims vis a vis Judicial appointments. When they force toe senate Dims to REALLY fillibuster, I would definitely be interested. This is all talk and no hat.

"Schumer said, "if the President would just sit down with us" .. W H A T ??????
This jackass is so ARROGANT he thinks the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES must CONFER with Mr. Schumer in order to allow Mr. Schumer to TELL THE PRESIDENT WHO HE CAN NOMINATE FOR JUDGES.
THIS IS JUST AN OUTRAGEOUS DISPLAY OF ARROGANCE - I'm yelling and screaming at my TV
Can you believe that ? I'm stunned at the arrogance, he has been hanging around The Beast too much. BTW, I recommend throwing nerf balls, I have lots of them, lobbing at democrats. LOL.

Allen: We cannot have activist judges now. It is a danger for security in our country. Look at the 9th Circuit Court.

The other thing he said was that Bush didn't win by very much .. HUH?? What does that have to do with the fact that Bush is THE PRESIDENT ..??
The democrats are dying; but it's a slow and painful death for those of us who are watching.

MAKE THE CALL FOLKS! Hellary/Kennedy/Reid/Daschle... Pick your favorite Senator...Drop them a voicemail expressing your disappointment in this filibuster (It would help if you think of a CITY in their home states to say you are calling from, and that they have certainly lose your vote next election)

Did you ever hear the British Parliament debate? Now that is entertainment.

Senator Larry Craig is one of the good guys in the Congress. Decades ago, the two of us were on our way to New Hampshire to testify about the Balanced Budget Amendment to the US Constitution (then being considered by the New Hampshire legislature). We flew on a twin Beech through a blizzard, the last plane into Concord, NH, that night.
But we made it. And we testified. Because it was important for the Constitution. Larry's one of the Members of Congress who has always supported the Constitution as written, and I am satisfied he always will.
