Oh my God! They just killed Kenny.

I don't understand why they would cancel the meeting with the Poles for "consultations". I think the Post might be jumping the gun here. We can still be optimists for a few more minutes.

With Gen. Abizaids comments in mind, this unscheduled trip does sound like there is definitely something big on the horizon I'm out of the loop .. What did the General say?

There was a story yesterday that most of the Governing Council is only interested in building their personal portfolios, and that a mere handful even attends meetings anymore.
We need to clean that organization out--get rid of the self-interested rats like Chalabi, and get Iraqis who are interested in a prosperous Iraq.

the iraqi war spins out of control Welcome to the forum, Bill. This is the best resource on the web. Stick around and learn a few things, and you soon won't be making such silly posts. Cheers!

Is bad news finding WMD? Is bad news that 5 soldiers were wounded in a firefight that lead to the capture of Sadaam? I don't know. Bad news if you are a democrat, good news if you are an American.
To: ClintonBeGone
There is a new initiative in explaining to the American people the combining of the civil reconstruction and the military cleansing of Iraq.
Their whole media concept is changing.
Just a guess, of course.

Essentially, that they are going to take the gloves off in some of the hot spots (i.e. fallujah) if the attacks continue.

There is a simple explanation for everything: he had a dental appointment to keep! (It takes 6 months to see a dentist in this town!)

And so is the media. I believe nothing I read and hear the media say.
Who knows if he canceled a meeting?
Who knows when he decided to come back for consultations?
Who knows what info the admin. has, and why they make the decisions they do? Some info may be intell, some info may be giving confort to the enemy, and can't be anounced.
Who really knows what Iraqi governing council is doing and why?
Watching them all answer questions, give speeches and interviews, over time is the only way to see some truth.
It is like watching sausage being made. Not pretty.
But with 24 hour news, alot of nonsense gets aired, and is melo-dramatic, laced with Dem politics, and agenda driven.
To: Mo1
You've misinterpreted me.
I don't think that's bad news.
To: All
Everytime I see the media go crazy, there is something up elsewhere (getting buried) and it's usually Dem related.
