Hentoff seems to be one of the very few leftist voices with a clear understanding of the US Constitution. Yet, I cannot find anything written by him about his position on the 2nd Amendment. I have even sent him e-mails asking him to publish an article on the RKBA. Nothing.

I wonder how much longer it will be before Nat Hentoff joins the likes of Christopher Hitchens, Tammy Bruce, and David Horowitz, and formally leaves the left behind because of the left's intellectual dishonesty and moral bankruptcy? Hentoff is one of the most principled pro-life activists of all time.

I'm amazed this could get published in the Village Voice. There is no paper in Atlanta--including our self-described alternative papers--which would publish it. In fact, our Catholic paper this week features an article trashing those who tried to defend Terri Schaivo. It's unbelievable.

Second thought - has anybody reported Schiavo's lawyers to their respective bar associations for taking the money which was intended for Terry's rehabilitation, and using it to try to kill her?
This seems to me to be such a clear violation of legal ethics as to not even be in doubt. Getting them disbarred is possible.
