Lousiana's governor really doesn't govern too too much, he's more into fishing and hunting if truth be told.

LOL! Yes! I thought I remembered that phrase from the movie.
Soe days I just have too much information. Ha!

The shrill 9 Dwarves cannot be helping Musgrove any... Tip O'Neill said all politics is local.. but sometimes that axiom simply does not hold water.

Speaking for myself.
Anti-infanticide, anti-social engineering in all forms, anti-illegal immigration, very pro-gun, believe that separation of church and state should have never gone beyond the original wording, believes the family is under attack, uses term like JBTs frequently, etc.
Thinks our culture is going to hell in a handbasket.
I could go on and on...but that's another thread.

Foster's a Republican the same way Michael Bloomberg is.... switching to the GOP at the last minute was a way to get elected, nothing more. If being a La. Republican means crouching behind a duck blind while every business from Shreveport to N.O. leaves the state, it's no wonder the state GOP is so weak.
Personally I can't wait for that lard-ass to be gone, whoever wins next week.

What is the relevance of this again? Does Barbour need an absolute majority, or it goes to the legislature?

Pataki, Giuliani, and Bloomberg supported it, most of the anti-ads had anti-Bush pics, urging a vote of NO which where the NY GOP is, huh?

Wow! I leave for a little bit to take care of some things, and the thread explodes!
I'm seeing some cautiously optimistic news, though.
vetvet, thanks for reporting what you hear.

Did you see on the Foxnews website today where Carl Cameron (or somebody) flat out stated that Mississippi had not elected a Republican Governor since 1967?
Morons! Foxnews morons!

THIS THING IS OVER! None of the results we are seeing are from DeSoto or Rankin counties. ZERO. These are the 2nd and 3rd largest counties in the state and both will probably go at least 70% for Barbour. Book it. IT IS OVER. WE ARE VICTORIOUS. Check the Clarion Ledger county by county results. This means that Reeves has a victory as well.
