Unless things have changed a lot, some of the rural counties use paper ballots and some even hand count. There are quite a few rural counties in the state.

Uh-oh....paper is never good.
They go slow so they can manufacture votes in the wee hours.

Senate ProTempore Little is behind the democrat Eric Powell. Barbour is ahead/Tuck way ahead. 50% of boxes in Alcorn County.

I'm going with 55% or better. It would be rare that high turnout favors the incumbent.

as an aside, does Musgrove ever wear anything besides hunting or shooting apparel?

I'd like to see the vote totals for Northeast MS. This region voted for Musgrove in 1999. If these counties aren't being carried by Musgrove tonight, then Haley is going to win.

We filled out scan sheets in Desoto co. They didnt have enough booths so we sat at folding tables and voted. People were asking each other who to vote for in the races they werent familiar with. I stuck around until the pol workers decided I shouldnt be telling everyone to vote for all the republicans. Only in Mississippi.

Thank ya... yeah, finally found a site to list 'em. Philly, San Fransisco, Houston have mayoral races. It even looks like Republicans will win in San Fransisco, believe it or not!

I look forward to the Nov. 15th race... really rooting for Jindal :)

On the Charlie Rose board, "Republicans are in trouble".... lololol.

Nice....if that were Hinds county and most of the Delta, you could safely call it right now. No way does Haley not carry the Coast, NE, and Piney Woods (my ancestors for the most part) regions.
