I wonder why Pres. Bush has spent so much time in the state since we are all so hopeless and ignorant?

Check
The Magnolia Report for updates during the evening. They have a number of articles posted already regarding the high voter turnout in MS today.

Looks like the Dems in Philly won't have to wake the dead before polls close.

Mega-dittoes on that. Landrieu's 2002 numbers, in historical context, were not good for an incumbent Louisiana senator running for re-election. They were even worse considering just how weak a candidate Suzie Terrell was. She can be ousted. A pity we've gotta wait 5 more years for another chance to prove it. -Dan
Heh heh, I'd love to see Hunt Downer take her on. Course the media will savage him for "being too hard on a girl." Down and give me twenty, Landrieu!

He's trying to make sure he holds on to the state since you guys gave him his lowest margin in the South. He can't count on AR like he can the rest of the real south.

Will guests be allowed to bring cameras into the victory party at the Clarion in Jackson? If so, I'll post some pics tomorrow.
