Fox News headline:
Republican Wins Kentucky Governor's Race CNN headline:
Democrats lose Kentucky, in danger in Missisippi.
Good grief. Note the titles and font sizes on these sites. "Republicans win.." vs. "Democrats lose..."
Just had to let off a little steam...

Fox News just reported that Mississippi was still too close to call. What is going on? We can see the results, why can't any of the media. Is there something we don't know about? No, Gran, there's something they don't know about. I'd bet anything we're ahead of them.

Yes...it's quite odd. It was warm in the mountians too ...only high 40s at night and 70s in the day.
course the leaves are gone at altitude already....very strange...remember how the first of October was unseasonably cold and then 3 weeks of warmth.
it was about too hot for our hayride last Friday.
I'm ready for a little chilly snap.
But...lest we forget ...I remember last spring when you thought it would never get warm again up there...lol

What city is Hinds?Hinds includes all of center city Jackson, and some of its suburbs, but not all of them. Many of Jackson's higher income suburbs are in Rankin County, which is heavily GOP.
Hinds leans Dem due to a relatively high black population, but not overwhelmingly so. Gore carried it by about 53-43, with a margin of about 10,000 votes.
At this point, no worries.
But Fox News still saying "too close to call." Grrr.

Haley is declaring victory before Musgrove's concession speech? Wow! Now, that is some in-your-face politics!

I really don't think so.
He's tired, worn out.
Miller finished two terms as governor - and he was old then. Heretired to the hills, and only got the Senate seat when Coverdell died - Miller was APPOINTED to the seat (giving Dasshole the majority through Jefford's swap later) by the democratic governor of GA.
He won't run again, and has already declared out of the race.
Yep! Think about it.
Dasshole WAS NOT ELECTED Senate Majority leader. He was APPOINTED leader through the Senate cheating in elections in GA, Missouri, WA, and NM, and NJ. Plus Lieberman dual-running in CT as VP and Senator.

I'm proud to say I STILL have never been over to DU. Will risk it one of these days.
Me neither. And I WON'T risk it, as lots of DU seems to bleed over here. I have to admit I looked at DU once, just once, long ago. The sheer idiocy, profanity, and ranting venom of these wackos is unbelieveable. I felt dirty afterwards, almost like I should disinfect my computer and take several showers. Ugh! It's great to see those worshipped by these clueless idiots increasingly being voted out of power.
