No. He has clearly stated that he was not advocating the boycott, yet.
To: rep-always
That's true, but as another poster said, he may claim credit like he did "The Factor led boycott of France" that was well underway before he ever mentioned it.

Viacom as an enitity is a bigger, juicier target than just Showtime. I say target the whole enchilada.

We are now a powerful force to be reckoned with. Some may disagree, but I think in large part we have Rush to thank for this. He got the ball rolling by finally giving us a voice after decades of being silenced.
To: who knows what evil?
Rush will really enjoy hearing about this when he returns to the EIB network...can't wait. Wow. One for the gipper ....and a smile for Rush!
Pretty darn good.

Kudos to Drudge on this one. He broke it and kept us up to date.

Betcha they cave in 24 hours and toss it off to BET or something like that. They give it to PBS and use our Tax dollars to air it.
Isn't that what the LOONIE LEFT always does when their butt's being kicked?

Wonderful news! It validates how much quiet noise we can make on our wonderful FR website -- thanks again Jim for FreeRepublic.com!

I believe the publisher was Simon & Shyster (Schuster) which is owned by Viacom, isn't it?

Halmark is still distributing outside the USA.
They are still a target.
They are trying to dixiechix us.
(I bet despite they written statements, advertisers were bailing.)
NO CBS IN NOVEMBER, MAKE THEM PAY.

There's hardly anything on Showtime. I only watch it on Friday nights for Sci-Fi Fridays. I do have to hand it to them, some of the best sci-fi shows lately started on Showtime. Stargate SG-1 and Jeremiah come to mind.

CBS REAGAN: 'I AM THE ANTI-CHRIST'
**Exclusive**
One shock scene in the final production script for CBS's upcoming telefilm THE REAGANS captures the former president declaring he is the anti-Christ, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal!
****
p. 209
During Iran-Contra Scandal --
INT. REAGANS'S BREAKFAST ROOM -- WHITE HOUSE -- MORNING
Reagan and Nancy sit in front of their breakfast. They can't eat. Can't drink. They're numb.
REAGAN: It's Armageddon... that's what it is. Armageddon. The Leader from the West will be revealed as the anti-Christ, and then God will strike him down. That's me. I am the anti-Christ.
NANCY: No, Ronnie...
REAGAN (overriding): And the Lord will strike down all of civilization, in order to make way for the new order... a new Heaven and a new Earth...
Nancy reaches out, grabs his hand, strongly.
NANCY: Hold on. You've got to hold on, Ronnie.
Reagan's eyes are filling with tears. He can't help it. He's crumbling.
REAGAN: I saved 77 lives in 7 years, Nancy... But I couldn't save those people in Lebanon.
Nancy gets up, puts her arms around him. She rocks him slowly, silently, back and forth.
****
Former first lady Nancy Reagan has reached out to Hollywood heavyweights, including Merv Griffin, to somehow stop the controversial movie, set for broadcast during the November Sweeps.
Developing...

Lets not ever forget we are a Republic, the "center is more conservative than the liberals will ever admit , Conservatives have found the power of the internet, and it's no more Mr. Nice guy to get things done.
Don't forget A sponsor pulled it's advertising from the second part of a two part series on CBS titled the Dark side of Homeschooling , and Congress sent a shame on you letter to CBS last month as well for the homeschooling show.
